The team in last place will be determined by whoever finishes their group with the lowest points and lowest goal difference. If there is still a tie here, the team who scored the least goals will be the worst, and if there is still more than one team after this then money will be split evenly.

🔵⚪️ Sean Havern Memorial Cup Final 🔵⚪️

Yesterday evening we completed the league and cup double as we overcame a good Church Street side 2-0 to lift the Sean Havern Cup.

Both sides were up for the game and were keeping things tight early on, with no real clear cut chances for either side. However, we got the opener on the half hour mark with Ger Laverty finishing brilliantly.

Church Street, to their credit, came out in the second half and played well trying to get the equaliser. We held them off very well, and with about 20 minutes to go Barnsey scored a cracking free kick to make it 2-0. We then seen the game out and got the win.

A massive congratulations to the team and management on securing the double!

🚨 RESULT 🚨

Mayobridge FC 5-1 Lisdrum

We reached our first cup final tonight after overcoming a good Lisdrum side in Jennings Park.

The game got off to a good start when Ger Laverty scored after 2 minutes. Lisdrum to their credit played well and pulled a goal back very quickly.

Chances came for both teams and we finally added the second through Paudie Smith, before some great finishes by Thomas Hardy and Liam Mathers put us 4-1 up going into the break.

The second half was a bit quieter and it wasn’t until 5 minutes before the end when Conor Garvey got our 5th of the evening to round off a great performance.

Huge credit to the whole team and management, and full focus will be on the final next Thursday!
