Yesterday Performance Development and Gold squads had a visit from 4 time Paralympic Champion Maisie Summers-Newton 😃

On Saturday 30th May 2026 Northampton Swimming Club had swimmers and coaches at the National Age Group Development Camp at Oundle School.

Rose Webb was selected for the camp as an athlete and Betsy Wizard attended as a senior athlete mentor to help and advise. swimmers and coaches on moving into senior swimming.

Coach O’Rourke was selected as a group coach and Coach Sharp led the camp as Head Coach.

Great to see the club have an impact on the sport of swimming and providing opportunities for athletes and coaches to continue to develop their skills.

Last week NSC had swimmers, coaches and team managers represent the club at the Northamptonshire ASA county development camp. Selections were based on results from the 200m Individual Medley from the 2026 county championships.

Swimmers had a great 3 days at the Northampton High School reenforcing skills from their normal club sessions at NSC. There were pool sessions on all 4 strokes, kick test and contrasting activities. Outside of the pool there were games of rounders, team building exercises and a lifestyle workshop from 4 time Paralympic Champions Maisie Summers-Newton 🥇🥇🥇🥇🇬🇧
