Northampton Swimming Club is Swim England Swim Mark accredited club offering all levels of swimming.
Northampton Swimming Club offers extensive opportunities for both the competitive and non competitive swimmer, catering for all ages. Competitions range from Development gala's for the youngest swimmers through to a range of Junior competitions, County and Regional Championships, progressing through to National Championships. The Club takes part in the Nuneaton and District Junior League; National Arena League East Midlands and Inter Club County Competitions.

Rose 1.27.41 heats ➡️ 1.23.79 PB Final 🥈
Women’s 200 fly
Orna 2.32.71 14th
Yesterday we saw Rose racing in the 100 free. Started off with a strong heat and putting herself in a good position for the final. When it came to the final she stepped up massively making a massive drop from her heats to PB and win a silver medal.
Next up was Orna in the 200 fly finishing 14th

Women’s 100 Back
Imogen 1.20.66 Heats ➡️ Final 1.19.25 5th
Vida 1.12.84 PB 37th (19th fastest 13 year old)
Women’s 800 Free
Lana 9.38.17 6th
Imogen was first up in the heats of the 100 back putting herself in a strong position for the final, finishing 5th and improving on her time from the heats.
Next up was Vida swimming in a double age band and finishing strong with another PB.
Lastly we had Lana swimming the 800 free putting in a good performance finishing 6th.

Bit of a quieter day yesterday with only 1 swimmer in the pool.
Rose swam a season best in the heats working on her skills. When it came to the final she has to face a delay before her race and she over came it to drop a massive 3 seconds from the morning swim!

Lana 18.00.68 🥈
Excellent day of racing of racing at the swim England summer meet.
Vida raced to 31st in the a tough 13/14 year age group. She finished 13th in the 13 year age group.
Orna swam a season best to make the final in the 200 back.
Lana was up next in the 1500 free. Only racing the 7.5k a couple of days ago. She executed her race really well and went on to win a silver medal.

This past Saturday saw Northampton swimmers competing in a range of distances at the swim England national open water championships.
Plenty of sunscreen was needed and luckily the rain managed to hold off to allow for some exciting races throughout the day.

Great last day of racing saw plenty progression from heats to finals.
Jack Hurry and Jack Bignell swimming season bets in both the 200 free and 200 IM. While we saw Betsy progress in the 100 fly to pick up gold.
Imogen and Amber were racing in multiple finals this evening with Amber picking up a bronze in the 50 free.
We saw Rose for the first time this week and she showed good speed in the 50 free with a PB in the heats and was able to PB again in the final.

Another strong day for Northampton with Imogen and Amber progressing from heats to finals in the 100 free with Amber picking up a bronze medal.
Edun and Jack were in the 200 back which saw both swimmers putting in strong performance after a tough week of racing .
This was the first day we saw Orna racing this week and put in a strong performance in the 400 IM.
