As the World Cup kicks off and we come together to celebrate the beautiful game, there’s one thing that should never be part of any match, at home or anywhere else: domestic abuse.

At Voice we’re asking everyone to take a stand and give domestic abuse the red card.

Behind closed doors, major sporting events can see a rise in abuse. But together, we can change that. Let’s make sure the only thing rising this season is team spirit and support for one another.

If you or someone you know needs help, we’re here to listen and support you. Reach out in confidence – you are not alone.

This World Cup, let’s play it right:
✅ Respect
✅ Safety
✅ Support
🚫 Domestic abuse — you’re off the pitch.

Visit our website to see how we can help.

If you want to report domestic abuse to Northamptonshire Police call 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Voice is the Commissioner's independent, in-house service supporting victims and witnesses of crime. Our partnership working ensures victims, survivors and witnesses are supported to bring their best evidence to court, so offenders are brought to justice.

Linked to Voice, the Sunflower Centre is a partnership-funded service managed by the Commissioner to provide crisis response and risk management to the highest risk victims and survivors of domestic abuse and stalking, and have been instrumental in shaping the Home Office pilot, for Raneem’s Law.

We have a number of roles available, based at Warwick House and Northampton Police's Control Room, both in Northampton.

The Raneem’s Law Domestic Abuse Specialist roles, aims to strengthen the police response to Domestic Abuse (DA) by embedding independent, external DA specialists within police control rooms. The specialists will help ensure that DA calls are assessed, managed and responded to effectively, and to ensure opportunities to safeguard are not missed. These specialist roles are to provide support, guidance and constructive challenge to police, working collaboratively with them to improve outcomes.
