Dr Liv Bates MRCVS 🩺🐾 I might have taken a slightly more unconventional route than expected but we got there in the end! 🎓 I never imagined the opportunities, experiences and friendships that my time at Notts would bring. None of it would have been possible without the amazing people in my corner who have supported me through every high and low. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. 🤍 It’s been a wild ride but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

🏆 Burton Regatta 🏆

What a weekend for County at Burton Regatta!

Across two days of racing, our athletes brought home 11 victories, producing some fantastic performances in challenging conditions and rounding off a brilliant weekend for the club.

A special congratulations to Erin, who won her very first race - an achievement to remember! 🥇

A huge thank you to our coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters for everything you do to make weekends like this possible. A special mention also goes to Paul for towing the trailer.

We’re now looking ahead to the final major event of the season - British Rowing Club Championships on our home water next weekend.

Nottingham Summer Games 🚣💚

On Thursday, Jeff and Martin, alongside Imogen from British Rowing, introduced over 180 Year 7 students from 18 Nottingham schools to the sport of rowing at the Nottingham Summer Games.

After teaching both the teachers and pupils the basics in just 10 minutes, everyone took part in two exciting six-minute relay races, with plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork and fun on the ergs.

It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce so many young people to rowing and showcase our sport to schools from across Nottingham.

A huge thank you to Jeff, Martin and Imogen for delivering such a successful event and inspiring the next generation of rowers.

Learn to Row this summer! 💚🚣‍♂️
Looking for a fun, active summer holiday course? Our Junior Learn to Row course runs from 28th July - 30th July and is the perfect introduction to rowing for young people who’ve never tried the sport before.
Over 3 days, participants will:
✔ Learn the basics of rowing on land and water
✔ Be coached by qualified, friendly instructors
✔ Use all equipment provided
✔ Gain a British Rowing Learn to Row membership
📍 National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont
