So…..Exam season is in full swing!
A silent exam room is full of determination and nerves for what is next; every student has their own story unfolding.
But in the quiet, there is also space for a bit of daydreaming. 💭 🥰
What do you think about when everything goes still? Holidays, fresh air or something completely different?

Little tip….I picked up these coloured overlays in Sainsbury’s for just £3!!
They can help students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or visual stress by reducing glare and making text easier to process and less overwhelming.
Even if you don’t work in education, you might have someone in your life with a reading difficulty so little adjustments like this can help to remove barriers and build confidence.
£3 might make learning feel easier and a positive difference to someone’s daily life.

“I just want to feel confident again.” That’s what a client spoke to me about this week.
(Obviously, they were happy for me to share that)
Not more successful, not more qualified and not more experienced…but Confident.
Many of us are functioning well on the outside but quietly doubting ourselves on the inside. Confidence isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about reconnecting with who we already are beneath the daily pressure and all the expectations.
One simple little exercise I will share if you need a little nudge to reconnect with your confidence is to write down three moments in your career or life when you handled something difficult well. Not perfectly, Just well or well enough.
Confidence returns when we reconnect with evidence of our own capability, not when we chase external validation. So bring it back to you, put yourself at the centre.
You already have proof. You just need to remember it.

Learning environments shape learning mindsets.
Walking through Oxford made me want to take some of my learners there. In education we should inspire curiosity, confidence and fun!
Inclusive learning is about removing barriers so every learner has the opportunity to thrive and reach their own goal whatever that is
Because when people feel they belong, they learn better.
