A little bit more about Mark…

🤸‍♂️What are you most looking forward to about bringing circus skills to Vixen?

I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and helping the next generation of circus folk find their passion.

🤸‍♂️What do you hope students will get from your circus classes?

I hope the students at vixen will find something in the lessons that helps spark a passion for circus/performing but most of all I hope we all have a lot of fun while learning.

🤸‍♂️What’s your favourite thing about watching someone learn a new circus skill for the first time?

The best bit about being a part of someone’s journey into circus is the look of pure joy when people achieve something they have worked hard to achieve.

🤸‍♂️What’s one thing you’d love every student to discover through circus?

I would love it if the students who take part discover their own passion for circus and the joy that comes from movement and having a go at something challenging.

🤸‍♂️What do you think circus can offer people, whatever their age or experience level?

I believe that all circus skills even the ones deemed “easy” offer a sense of escapism and allows us to build a sense of self belief and confidence which can spread through all aspects of life.

🤸‍♂️What does being part of the Vixen family mean to you?

Being a part of vixen and the learning journey for vixens new and existing students means a lot to me because circus has done nothing but make my life more amazing in so many ways. I cannot wait to help everyone find their own passion.

We are looking for a passionate MT teacher to share their knowledge with our wonderful students here at Vixen!🌟

Requirements:

• 18 or over
• The right to work in the UK
• Hold a valid enhanced DBS check
• Public liability insurance
• Must feel comfortable working with children aged 4+
• Safeguarding and first aid

Individuals need to bring a fun, friendly and bubbly energy into the studio and enjoy creating a positive and encouraging environment for our students.

🦊 WELCOME TO VIXEN 🦊

A very warm welcome to all of our new students and families who have joined Vixen Dance & Circus recently — we’re so excited to have you with us!

Whether you’ve joined us for acrobatics, dance, aerial, hand balancing, flexibility or musical theatre, we hope you’re already starting to feel at home.

Vixen is more than just a place to learn new skills. We want it to be a place where students can build confidence, challenge themselves, make friends, discover what their bodies are capable of and, most importantly, have fun along the way.

We’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built, and we’re so excited to welcome lots of new faces this year🌟

After 5–6 years of building, growing, changing and developing Vixen Dance & Circus, hitting 1,000 followers feels like such a lovely milestone to celebrate.

What started as a little dance school has grown into a community of dancers, aerialists, circus performers, families and creatives — and we’re so grateful to every single person who has followed us, shared our posts, booked a class, come to a show, recommended us to a friend or supported Vixen along the way.

Every follow, like, share and bit of support has helped us get here.

And we’re only just getting started…

We’re so excited about where Vixen is heading in the future, with new classes, new opportunities and plenty of exciting things in the works.

🎪 CIRCUS WORKSHOP 🎪

Last week, we took circus to a whole new level!

As part of the Vixen community, our students get access to exclusive guest teachers, workshops and experiences just like this one — giving them the chance to try something new, challenge themselves, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun with their friends.

We teamed up with Mark from Queenie and The Jester , a local professional circus artist with an incredible range of skills and equipment, to give our students the opportunity to explore even more of the circus world.

Many of our students got to develop their existing skills further, while others were introduced to completely new circus skills — and they absolutely loved it!

And this is only the beginning…

We’ve got some very exciting plans for circus at Vixen. 🎪

What makes Vixen, well… Vixen?

From aerial, acrobatics & hand balancing to circus, musical theatre, exams and shows, there’s a lot happening at Vixen Dance & Circus!

But it’s not just about the skills we teach. We’re passionate about helping our students build strength, confidence, independence and a genuine love for what they do — all while learning in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We believe in safe progression, supportive training and giving our students the opportunity to discover just how much their bodies can do. But most importantly, we want our students to have fun, make friends and create memories along the way.

This is Vixen.

And when you see it all together… we actually do a LOT! And that’s only the beginning…. 👀
