Just under an hour long dive on the WW2 liberty ship, James Eagan Layne in 20 metres. 3mm shorty, 19 degrees Celsius water temp, no problem for Rich from the Portsmouth uni clan. 😂

Spot of the week: Minke Whale🐋

Today while out on a blue shark snorkelling trip, during the silence of drifting in the tide we heard a loud blow and all of our attention was focused on finding the source of the sound. In the distance we then spotted this minke whale who stuck around for about 5 minutes showing of several blows before diving down🤩

What a wonderful club evening watching the Firework Championships✨ Plenty of laughs and brilliant memories made with friends and family!

Another epic long weekend at sea for all 4 of our dive vessels in almost perfect conditions here in Plymouth. ☀️

Over the last 4 days our team have been busy taking divers to visit all the stunning wrecks and reef sites accessible to us out of Plymouth. Diving wrecks located within the port limits in 15 metres of water, blue shark snorkelling 20+ miles off the coast, to unidentified wrecks over 50 nautical miles offshore in 85 metres! 😅

With just over 200 total dives carried out across all the divers on our boats, we’ve had some incredible marine life sightings, including dolphins on decompression stops, octopus roaming around, rays lying in the sand, shoals of bass hunting, lobsters on guard duty, cuttlefish cruising and crawfish all over the place, it’s safe to say it’s been a wild weekend. 🦞 🐬 🦈 🐙

Viz has continued to stay good, with some sites inshore ranging from 5-6m, others 8-10m and some of the offshore wrecks and reefs in excess of 15-20m. 😍
