As highlighted in previous communications, following the FA grant being signed off for the main rugby pitch at KGV Fields, the drainage work has now begun with the heras fencing taking shape and the initial machinery being brought onto the site.
Due to the nature of this work, this means that the car park will only have two thirds of its normal access available and the wider section around the pitch will initially be boundaried off to all.
On completion of the initial works, the car park will be made available and heras fencing moved closer to the pitchside for the second phase of the project.
We understand that this will cause some disruption to all users but we ask for your patience and understanding. Please ensure that you park using the markings provided to ensure maximum capacity for cars and use alternative modes of travel wherever possible.
We look forward to the next part of the project being completed in a timely fashion so we can progress with the ongoing works to support the rugby club and wider community.
