Whatever the reason teachers are leaving!
And it is not their fault because they’re being treated absolutely embarrassingly.
Whether it is the education system, parents, SLC or the students.
And it’s only going to destroy our economy.
I still stand by what I say… train teachers to coach not Teach.
AI can teach them they’re going to do it in the future anyway and they’re currently getting AI to write their assignments for them.
Let’s get Kids to understand themselves so we can prepare them for their future.

Honestly, I’m gutted.
A 4% pay rise sounds nice… until you realise inflation is 6.7%.
That means we’re actually earning less in real terms. It’s a slap in the face to every teacher putting in 50 - 60 hour weeks, missing time with their families, staying up late marking, planning, supporting kid’s mental health, and holding together a system that’s on its knees.
This isn’t just about money, it’s about f***ing respect.
About being valued.
About recognising the insane workload and emotional strain teachers are under.
Teachers not asking to be millionaires, they’re asking to be treated fairly.
The system is broken… and teachers are paying the price.
