Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious swimming coach looking to inspire the next generation of athletes? City of St Albans Swimming Club (CoStA) is excited to welcome a new Lead Squad Coach to our coaching team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with talented county and regional swimmers, helping them grow, achieve and thrive as part of one of Hertfordshire’s leading competitive swimming clubs.

What we’re looking for:
🏊 Level 2 Swimming Coach qualified
💙 Positive, motivated and team-oriented
📣 Strong communication skills and a passion for athlete development
➕ Level 3 and First Aid qualifications are desirable

About the role:
📍 Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire
⏰ Approx. 12 hours per week (mornings, evenings and weekends)
✅ SwimMark accredited club

Top 30 in Britain during the national qualifying window — and even more impressive, every swimmer still has another year in the age group, with half the team only 14 this year! 💪👏

One of the best nights of the swimming calendar returns tonight as our youngest racers take to the blocks for the first round of the Herts Peanuts League 🏊‍♀️🔥

What a night in the 800 Free!
🥇Addison backed up last weekend’s 1500 title in style with another brilliant swim and an 800FC win!
🥉 James Nelson stormed to his first ever regional medal, smashing his PB in the process 💥
👏 Massive shoutout as well to John H-D, who’s only just returned from injury and still stepped up to race the 800 tonight — impressive resilience and determination.
