Shin Splints nearly ended his 100 mile goal!!😱

Meet Jay šŸ‘‹

Jay has just successfully completed the UTS 100 but, 6 months ago, he questioned if he could make it to the start line!

Then:
āš”ļøJay couldn’t run or walk pain free with shin splints
āš”ļøHe couldn’t train consistently
āš”ļøThe Arc 100 was already a DNS
āš”ļøHe was lost!

What we did:
šŸ”„Assessed his biomechanical strengths/weaknesses
šŸ”„Built a strength plan specific to his needs
šŸ”„Removed the guess work
šŸ”„Applied adequate progression

Now:
šŸ’ŖšŸ»He trained pain free with
šŸ’ŖšŸ»He successfully completed the UTS 100!
šŸ’ŖšŸ»He is stronger than ever!

Come with us for some fitness testing with a competitive hyrox athlete to understand where his thresholds are currently and where they sit relative to his vo2max to better understand his physiology to make bigger stops forward in his training.

Remember hyrox needs a BIG aerobic engine to perform well.

Maybe it’s not a bike fit issue, maybe it’s a YOU issue and you just have some big imbalances/weakness

It’s that time of year where the weather picks up, the TT bike comes off the turbo and you start riding longer on it. You may have even completed your first few events.

That’s also the time you realise the turbo has helped mask a few issues being in a fixed position that now tend to show up under fatigue or longer durations.

That’s why it’s not always a bike fit issue, it could be a you issue.
