More than football…
JJFC U9’s player Arlo and myself took to the streets for a 4.74km run on Thursday 🏃🏻♂️ Arlo is completing the huge charity challenge of running 100km throughout August, in memory of his Grandad while raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. He’s just 8 years old and running multiple miles every single day, a truly inspiring thing to do if you ask us! 👏🏼
I wanted to get involved and help Arlo on his way to the 100km, it was terrible conditions in the wind and rain but the weather was no match for him 💪🏼 The work ethic he shows on the pitch shone through and it demonstrates our values of developing good people not just footballers. It means more than just the sport itself ⚽️
Well done Arlo, from all of us at JJFC we’re super proud of you! ⚫️🟡

With the new changes for grassroots football coming into force this season and our pitch being 3v3 size, we thought we would get involved and support it! ⚫️🟡
Introducing the brand new JJFC 3v3 LEAGUE, giving U6 and U7 players the chance to experience competitive football, make new friends and most importantly… have fun 🤩
🗓️ Every Friday from 6pm
🚀 Starting 21st August
👥 3–5 players per team
⏰ 30 minutes playing time a week minimum

PRE-SEASON… IT’S NOT EASY.
The sessions are tough. The legs get heavy. The body gets tired. And there will be moments when you want to give up. But this is where mentality matters! 🧠💪🏼
When the body tells you to stop, dig deeper. When the session gets difficult, stay focused. And when you’re tired, keep working until the very end. Pre-season is about more than getting fitter and sharper, it’s about building the strength, resilience and mentality you need for the season ahead ⚽️
Don’t just survive the hard sessions. Embrace them. Learn from them and finish strong. This is the time that separates the best from the rest 🔥📈

🔥 LAST WEEK WRAPPED! 🔥
Another huge week complete at JJFC last week 👏🏼 The effort, attitude and energy on display has been unbelievable. Week after week we’re seeing more confidence, sharper technique and players who genuinely love coming to train with us, and that’s exactly what JJFC is all about! 🙌🏼
From building confidence and mastering new skills to creating lasting friendships, it’s a privilege to be part of each player’s journey. To every player who gives 100% and every parent who continues to support the journey, thank you. Your commitment is what makes this community so special ⚫️🟡

Not everything goes to plan in training… but that’s where the biggest lessons are learned. What matters is taking the positives from every repetition and instead of focusing on what didn’t happen, we focus on what did. Sienna gets the detail exactly right, and that’s what we talk about here ⚽️
Progress isn’t about perfection, it’s about recognising what’s been done well and building on it. Keeping a positive mindset with high energy, plenty of encouragement and a few laughs along the way, creates an environment where players enjoy learning. Building strong relationships with them builds confidence and belief. That belief creates the work ethic and resilience needed to keep improving 📈

We had the pleasure of welcoming this great group for a coaching session yesterday! The players brought fantastic energy, worked hard throughout and showed good attitude from start to finish 👏🏼 It was a session packed with high intensity pre season work and of course, plenty of smiles 😀
