What an incredible year it's been! We couldn't be prouder of all our swimmers and everything they've achieved. From building confidence and developing new skills to earning awards, achieving personal bests, and making fantastic progress in the pool, every swimmer has given their all.

A huge thank you to our amazing swimmers, supportive families, and dedicated teaching team for making this such a successful and enjoyable year.

Summer Fun is in full swing! 🌞 Our themed lessons are proving a real hit this week, bringing plenty of laughter, confidence, and fun for our swimmers and the team alike! 🏊✨

🏃‍♀️💙 We're incredibly proud of our amazing teacher, Amy, who is taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Tommy's.

Every step Amy runs will help Tommy's continue their vital work funding research, providing support, and helping more families experience healthy pregnancies and safe births.

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a child grow in confidence both in and out of the water. We're so proud to hear feedback like this from our swimming families.

Our instructors are passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every swimmer can thrive, learn new skills, and enjoy their time in the pool.

Learning to swim is about so much more than technique—it's about confidence, trust and feeling supported every step of the way.

💦 Water safety is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that learning how to stay safe in and around water is one of the most important skills a child can develop.

That's why we don't just hold one Water Safety Week each year – we hold TWO! We carefully schedule them at times when children are most at risk, as the weather gets warmer and school holidays approach.

Our first Water Safety Week this year took place just before the May half-term, and we're excited about our next Water Safety Week, which will be running during the week commencing 6th July, just in time for the summer holidays ☀️

These weeks are always a huge hit with our swimmers, who learn essential water safety skills in a fun, friendly, and engaging environment. From building confidence in the water to understanding how to stay safe and react if they ever find themselves in trouble, our swimmers gain valuable knowledge that could make all the difference. With bonus Water Safety awards to achieve along the way 🏅

We can't wait for another fantastic week of learning, confidence-building, and fun! 🏊‍♀️☀️🌊

💙 SEN Swimming Lessons 💙

Every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident, safe and successful in the water.

We are incredibly proud of our SEN swimming programme and our dedicated instructors, who take the time to understand each child's individual needs, strengths and challenges.

Receiving feedback like this reminds us why we do what we do. Through patience and consistency, we help children build not only swimming skills but also confidence, trust and enjoyment in the water.

A huge thank you to Kelly for the amazing work she does with our swimmers every week. Seeing children grow in confidence and look forward to their lessons is what it's all about.

At Mer-Fin Swim, building confidence is just as important as building swimming skills.

We were so touched to receive this feedback from a parent whose child was having a difficult day after being poorly. Rather than giving up, our instructors took the time to listen, reassure, encourage and support her through the lesson.

Patience, kindness and understanding are at the heart of everything we do. Every child is different, and sometimes the biggest achievement isn't a new swimming skill—it's helping a child feel safe, confident and ready to come back next week.
