FULL TIME RESULT🖤💛
The Reserves drew 2:2 to Sutton yesterday. The lads grafted hard, playing some great football, and found themselves two nil up from capitalising on two corners. Sutton then grew into the game and scored two late goals to clinch a draw.
The lads are motivated to bounce back, and have the chance to do so away at Addingham on Wednesday.

Both teams met here in pre season only a few weeks ago, and the game ended 2:2. With some momentum from last week’s win, the boys are raring to turn up and get the full 3 points this time round when it matters most.

The Firsts unfortunately fell to their first defeat of the season last night against Settle United Firsts.
Manager Kyle Thornton:
“We knew last night was going to be our first big test and it proved to be the case. Settle are well drilled and have some good and experienced players in their ranks. We just didn’t click in the first half and after some structural and defensive mistakes we found ourselves 3 down in what was still an even game.
The reaction of the lads after half time was fantastic! We learned from our mistakes and dominated the second half, getting it back to 3-2 with some really good team goals. Unfortunately we could not find an equaliser but so many positives from that second gives me great optimism for the upcoming games. Settle will be up there this season and we gave them a real run for their money!”

MATCH RESULT🖤💛
The Reserves bounced back this weekend with a 4:2 win over Cowling Reserves at the MJL stadium.
Manager Kane Bethell said, ‘What a way to kick start the season!
The lads did exactly what I needed them to do, we followed the gameplan to the letter against a strong Cowling side.
Going into the break 3-0 didn't flatter us, we created chances to score even more goals and overwhelmed them in key areas.
Credit to Cowling who did come back at us in the second half as we expected they would, but we used our experience to see the game out.
A really good advert for the league and we look forward to the next game!’
