💙 World Mental Health Day 2026 💚

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and we believe dance can play an incredible role in supporting our wellbeing. ✨

Dance gives us a space to express ourselves, release emotions, build confidence, create friendships and feel part of something special. It allows us to switch off from the outside world, find joy in movement and remind ourselves of the power of doing something we love!

At Roynon Performing Arts, we know dance is about so much more than the steps - it’s about connection, confidence, belonging and supporting one another, both on and off the stage. 🩵

Has your little dancer ever woken up feeling a little nervous about coming to class? 🩰💗

We promise, this is completely normal! Starting something new can bring a mix of excitement and nerves, especially for little ones stepping into a dance class for the very first time.

But don’t worry - we’re here to make those first steps feel as happy, comfortable and exciting as possible! ✨

We absolutely love welcoming new dancers through our doors and watching them grow in confidence, make new friends and leave class feeling proud of themselves for giving something new a try. 🥹

Our studios are all about creating a kind, encouraging and inclusive environment, surrounded by wonderful teachers, teaching assistants and fellow dancers who are there to cheer them on every step of the way. 💕

So if your little one is feeling a few first-day nerves, please don’t worry. We’ve got them! 🩵

Those very first dance steps are so special, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of them. 🩰✨

WEEK 4 ROUND UP! 🩵

We can’t believe we’re already on Week 4 of the term - it’s absolutely flying by! ✨

We’ve had another busy week in the studios, with all of our classes working hard, learning new material and continuing to refine and build on their existing skills.

Some of our Festival Team also took to the stage for their very first festival of the season and had the most amazing time! Not only did they achieve some fantastic results, but they also had such a lovely weekend making memories with their dance friends - which is what it’s all about! 🫶🏻

We’re so excited to see what the next week brings, both in and out of the studio! 🤍
