Where the next part of the journey begins… 🩵✨

Our Middle School classes are such an exciting stage of a dancer’s training. As our students grow, so does their confidence, technique and love for performing, and we love being able to offer so many different opportunities for them to develop and discover what they enjoy most!

Alongside their core Ballet, Tap and Modern classes, our students can explore Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Acro, as well as lots of other classes too! We’re so proud to offer such a wide variety of classes and styles for our students to explore!

There really is something for everyone, whether they love performing, want to focus on developing their technique, enjoy trying different styles or simply love coming to the studio each week to dance with their friends! 🫶🏻

The Middle School years are full of so much growth, and it is incredibly special to watch our dancers become more confident, independent and passionate about what they do.

We are so proud of every student and all the hard work they put into their dancing. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings! 🩵

🩵A VERY EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT✨

We are so proud to share that our very own Principal, Sarah, has officially joined TDSC as an Examiner! 🥹💫

With over 25 years of teaching experience and having owned and led Roynon Performing Arts for the past 16 years, Sarah brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for dance to this exciting new role.

Sarah has always believed in setting high standards while making sure every dancer enjoys their experience. We know these values will be at the heart of her work as an examiner too.

For us, dance is about so much more than technique. It is about confidence, commitment, musicality, expression and, most importantly, developing a genuine love for what you do.🩵

This is such an exciting step for Sarah personally, but also a hugely positive one for Roynon Performing Arts as a whole. The knowledge, experience and insight this role will bring back into our school will help shape our teaching, support our teachers and continue to raise the standards and opportunities we can offer our dancers.

We are so excited for this next chapter and everything it will bring! ✨

Last week, the lovely Emily and Eve spent the week at the Elite Industry Dance Associates Summer School and had such a great time! 🩵✨

They spent the week learning from a range of choreographers and industry professionals, taking classes in lots of different styles and gaining so much experience along the way!

On Friday, they performed everything they had learnt in the showcase at Fareham Live and were absolutely fantastic! 🌟

Miss Sarah and Miss Melissa loved coming to watch and were so proud to see them perform alongside so many talented dancers.

A huge well done girls! 🫶🏻🩵

Where it all begins…

Our Lower School classes are such an important part of Roynon Performing Arts, giving our youngest dancers the chance to discover dance, build confidence and have lots of fun along the way!

We welcome dancers from age 3 with our Tinies classes, where they can enjoy movement, music and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

From Year R, our Pre-Primary dancers begin exploring Ballet, Tap and Modern, building the foundations for their future dance training!

From Year 1 onwards, students can work through the ISTD graded syllabi in Ballet, Tap and Modern, developing their technique, musicality and confidence as they progress!

We are so proud to also offer a variety of other classes too including Acro, Mini Hip Hop and Musical Theatre, giving students the opportunity to try different styles and discover what they enjoy most!

Most importantly, our Lower School classes are a place to make friends, grow in confidence and become part of the Roynon family. 🩵

We love watching our youngest dancers learn, grow and find their love of performing arts!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes launching our brand-new enrolment system, making it easier than ever to join us for another exciting year of learning, dancing and performing!

At Roynon Performing Arts (est 1981), we offer over 60 classes every week, meaning there really is something for everyone! We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, inclusive and positive environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can feel confident, thrive and progress!

Whether you’re just starting out and looking to try something new, or you’d like to take your dancing and performing further, we have a class for everyone!
