We currently have three teams competing in the BUCS leagues, which is the highest level possible whilst at university. Playing for SUFC means you will represent University of Southampton nationwide for football.

SUFC OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS⚽️-

Due to having full squads this season we decided not to run January retrials but instead hold open training sessions to make it easier for lads looking to join the SUFC this September

Sign ups are now live to attend SUFC open training sessions, these are open to anyone, including boys who didn’t make it through trials this year and those who did not attend altogether

We currently stand at a total of 202km in our Move to Stop Hate Fundraiser, putting us on track to achieve 282km by the end of the month.

Here we present to you some of the worst moustaches you’ll see this Movember time. These are the efforts of the some of the boys at the SUFC that they grew in aid of Movember to help raise money and awareness for Men’s Health and Mental Health.

Too many men are taken from this world too young, whether it be due to mental health problems or from cancers such as prostate or testicular, we need to do whatever we can to help try limit it. This month as a club we managed to raise over £2000 which we are all very grateful for and will all be used to go towards causes such as the ones I’ve mentioned.

Alongside attempting to grow some moustaches, some more than others evidently, some of the boys have been taking part in some other physical challenges which is hardly a fraction of the pain some men deal with. Many of the boys have run 60km across the month with Anoir Lagzouli managing to get 100km done! Also a couple do the lads have done some press up challenges with Billy White doing 60 press ups a day throughout the month to represent the 60 men who take their life each hour worldwide. Last but not least our very own president Will Fenley did a hugely impressive bike ride of 91 miles to help represent the amount of men who took their life in the UK each week last year.

Once again we thank you for all of your support and the money raised. There’s still time to donate if any of you are able and willing to help fight this battle with us. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay!

Okay so we set a target of £500 thinking it was ambitious but we’ve just smashed over double that amount.
Thank you to all the family members, friends and old boys who have donated to our fundraiser and towards a really worthwhile cause.

uk.movember.com Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

A load of us boys at the SUFC have decided to take it upon ourselves to partake in many different challenges this Movember to raise some money and awareness for Men’s Mental Health.

It’s a topic that has affected the majority of us in one way or another by someone you know or yourself and this charity continues to do brilliant work to help battle to reduce su***de rates and raise awareness about this subject.

As you can see from the photo a few of our boys have gone clean shaven in the attempt to try grow some facial hair, some more than others, to raise some money. Billy White will also be doing some physical challenges such as 60 press ups a day and racking up 60km running across the month due to his inability to grow facial hair!

We are very happy to announce that we will be hosting the University of Southampton Football Trials in early October.
This is open to ANYONE with an interest in football, irrespective of any footballing background. You never know, have a successful few days and you may end up finding yourself representing the club in a National Cup Final!
