It's been a while..............and usually 'no news is good news' 😁but we've encountered a few unexpected things that have delayed the build. So here's a bit of a video to update you...........
I realise the delay will be disappointing to everyone who supported the fundraising so enthusiastically (and not least for Nick and I who work on this daily) but we're hanging in there and we hope you can too. Despite mountains of red tape - this will happen 😉💪😉!!
Cheers Dave G👍
Highlights include:
1st - Ladies Senior Four 🏆
1st - Ladies Junior Four 🏆
1st - Ladies Novice Four 🏆
2nd - Ladies Senior Four
2nd - Mens Junior Four
2nd - Ladies Junior Four
2nd - Mens Masters Four
2nd - Mixed Fours
Also some excellent results from our Novice crews, working their way to the front of field - doubtless more successes to come there before the season is through… 💪🏻
An incredible victory for our Men’s Novice A Crew at Swanage Regatta yesterday against an extremely competitive field. Also, an extra congratulations to the club’s first ever winner from our new Explore Rowing Scheme, Alex Tyrrell, in his first ever race:
8th April 2021 - Introduction session on the ergo.
3rd July 2021 - Mens Novice Fours Winner!
Could you be the next…? 🤔
Further impressive results for our other crews including a 3rd place🥉in the Ladies Masters and an exciting 2nd 🥈place finish with a fight to the line for our Senior Ladies Four in their first race at the top level - more to come there for sure…!!!
Great to be back racing…!!!
