Southampton Holiday Activities & Food Programme

What a brilliant final day at our May Half Term Holiday Club yesterday! 🦸‍♂️🎉

We wrapped up the week with treasure hunts, superhero design competitions with prizes, obstacle courses, hand painting art, face painting and an epic end-of-club disco party complete with masks and plenty of dancing! 💥🎨🪩

A huge THANK YOU to all of the children who joined us this week and made it so much fun - we’ve loved every minute! ❤️

Massive shoutout as well to our amazing team for all of their hard work, energy and enthusiasm throughout the week 👏🏻

And thank you to Phoenix cafe at Highpoint for keeping everyone fuelled with delicious food 🍕😊

Day 3 of our May Half Term Activities Club was another brilliant one! 🌿☀️

Today our forest school adventurers got stuck into:

🎨 Clay face creations
🪶 Dream catcher making
🌲 Den building
😎 Relaxing in the hammocks

Back at club we also enjoyed:

🏅 Mini sports day fun
🎖️ Medal designing
✨ Hair glitter sparkle stations

So many smiles, so much creativity and LOTS of energy! 😁

Tomorrow is our final day already 😭 and we’re ending the week in style with a treasure hunt and our Superhero Themed End of Club Party! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️🎉

Day two of our May Half Term Activities Club was another brilliant one 😁☀️

Today’s activities included:

🍕 Making (and eating!) our own pizzas
🏋️ Time in the fitness suite
🪴 Designing plant pots and planting seeds
🎨 Plenty of creativity and hands-on fun

We also had loads of party games this afternoon… although everyone was having far too much fun for us to stop and take many photos 😂

Another fantastic day with lots of smiles, energy and happy faces!

We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow 🙌🏻🎉

What a fantastic first day of our May Half Term Activities Club! ☀️🎉

From football, tennis and time in the fitness suite, to arts & crafts, face painting and bouncy castles… we’ve packed so much fun into Day One already! 🙌🏻

With the sunshine making an appearance, we made the most of both our indoor and outdoor spaces and the energy from everyone today was amazing 💛

And we’re only just getting started… 👀

Tomorrow we’ll be making our own pizzas for lunch 🍕 alongside more arts & crafts and a fun obstacle course challenge!

We’re delighted to share that Oasis Academy Mayfield has been shortlisted for the 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗔 ‘𝟯𝗚 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿’ 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱! ⚽🏆

Since opening in January 2023, our FA registered 3G pitch has become a real hub for grassroots sport and physical activity in the heart of Southampton - supporting pupils, local clubs, women’s and girls’ football, inclusive football programmes, and wider community activity.

We’re incredibly proud to see the facility recognised in this way, and it wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our partners, staff, community users and hirers who help us maintain such high standards day in, day out 👏🏻

A huge thank you to everyone involved 💙
