💙⚽ NETLEY ROYALS WEEKEND ROUND-UP ⚽💙

Another busy weekend for the Royals, with some great football, plenty of effort and a few tough battles along the way.

⚪ U10 WHITES
A brilliant performance from the Whites. Some really good passing and movement, plenty of chances and great team effort throughout. When Stoneham came back at them, the boys kept going and saw the game through.

🏆 Player of the Match: Oz
⭐ Special mentions: Kit, Tom, Tristan, Ethan, Fraser, Reggie & Isaac

🔵 U10 BLUES
A tough game against a very strong Colden Common side. Ryder pulled off a great penalty save and the boys had chances of their own, but just couldn’t find the net. Mav came closest with a free kick off the crossbar.

The boys never gave up though. Heads stayed up and they kept fighting right to the end. 💙

🏆 Coach’s Player of the Week: Harrison
⭐ Parents’ Player of the Week: Mav

💛 U10 YELLOWS
The boys came flying out of the blocks, pressing high and putting Totton under pressure from the start. They played some really good football and worked hard when Totton came back at them.

🏆 Player of the Match: Charlie — a hat-trick in only his second game for the club! 👏⚽

💛 U11 YELLOWS
A great local derby performance. Really good to see the work from training coming into the game — good positioning, interceptions and plenty of teamwork.

🏆 Player of the Match: Logan
⭐ Opposition Player: Herkus
👏 Parents’ Player: Josh

🔵 U12 BLUES
A proper battle against Whitely. The boys started well, with Max finishing a good move down the right before adding a brilliant free kick from distance.

The second half was a real scrap, with both sides pushing for the winner. The Blues hit the post late on and came close to nicking it.

Frustrating not to get the win, especially after last season, but plenty of positives to take from the performance. 💙

👏 Well done to all our Royals this weekend!

Keep working, keep improving and keep enjoying your football.

💙⚽ UP THE ROYALS! ⚽💙

❤️🤍 What a day for our U10 White!

Four of our boys got to be flag bearers at Southampton v Bristol City in the Championship.

They stood in front of a packed stadium, flags in hand, and did the club proud. A proper experience for them and one they’ll remember for a long time.

Big thanks to Southampton for having us. 👏

Netley Royals U10 White. ❤️🤍

Fantastic effort from our Netley Royals U8 Blues at the Fawley Falcons Tournament today! 💙💛⚽

The boys showed incredible determination in the heat, battled hard in every game and never gave up.
