🚨 ROUND TWO, HERE WE COME!

An early setback saw Wickham take the lead, but the Spartans quickly found their feet and took control of the game.

⚽ got us back level before goals from Jake Tankard, Sam May and a second from Boyce put Spartans firmly in control at 4–1 at half-time, despite the difficulties faced throughout the game.

An early second-half goal from settled any remaining nerves before a couple of penalties gave Wickham a route back into the game.

But Spartans weren’t finished.

A 7–3 win sends the Firsts through to Round Two, although the scoreline could arguably have been even more emphatic given the chances created.

⚽ Ryan Southward

A Ryan Southward free-kick had the Reserves in a strong position at 1–1 at half-time in an even contest.

A sloppy goal then gave Fleming the lead, before the floodgates opened and the final scoreline ultimately flattered the hosts.

A tough one for the Reserves, but plenty to take from the performance.
