Recent runnings…

May was a cracker of a month for Ochil Hill Runners. Aside from the continuation of the Bog and Burn series, our runners have taken part in a variety of races from road 10ks to boat races and everything in between.

⛰️ 9 May - Pennine Barrier Ultra 50 for Nicola

🏃‍♂️ 10 May - Thornhill 10k (Barry, Jen, John & Mo)

🚤 15 May - Scottish Islands Peak Race (Robin, Alastair, Andy, teams & boats) ⛰️

⛰️ 16 May - Glas Tulaichean uphill race for Katy

🏔️ 23 May - Isle of Jura fell race (Dean, William, Tom V, Richard G, Louise & Daniel C)

🏃‍♀️ 24 May - Mull of Kintyre for Edel & friend 🐄

⛰️ 30 May - 3 races! Durisdeer race (see results photo), Full Tilt Ultra, and Dearg Up ‘n Doon.

Well done to Victor who took 3rd place the Full Tilt Ultra🥉 and Jono Atkinson for slicing a whopping 10 minutes off the previous record at the Dearg Up ‘n Doon!

🏖️ 31 May - the month was rounded out with the Chariots of Fire beach run in St. Andrews for Barry & Jen and 3rd place overall for Coach Andy in the Dunblane Road Race 🥉

Dumyat Hill Race on 6 May

A team of fell runners has broken the relay record for the fastest time to summit all 282 of Scotland’s Munros ⬇️

Well done to our squaddies who ran Kinnoul Hill Race on Thursday night.

🏅 No M60, but Ron nominated Coach John.
