PE is popping off.

Man like Micky.

180kg squat is a Massive milestone to tick off.

Super impressive.

Who needs cardio when you can squat 4 plates like this.

Sessions are set up the way they are for a reason.

It does matter.

There’s general rules, that over time if followed will make meaningful differences to your SnC.

But you can’t be so neurotic when there’s a slight change to running order or kits taken and you swap an exercise out, you can’t just crack on.

Especially if it’s the odd session here and there.

The work must be done before you worry about where to funnel it.

Entrance hall is coming along.

Photos from coaching clients and members comps/fights/sessions over the years.

More to be added over the next week or so.

If anyone has any cool photos they have from comps/sessions send them over and I’ll stick them up 🫡

Despise the term functional strength.

These exercises are some of the most “unfunctional” I could find.

Either strength training is functional or it is not.

Unless I’m missing it and there’s some specific range you access and all of a sudden you’re a beast (I’ve missed nothing).

People miss the point of what this is.

I’m not playing games this year.

Just because your mates gone the gym for 5 years, you brought him sparring for the first time and the fella couldn’t fight, that doesn’t make lifting useless and It certainly doesn’t make you functionally strong.

IT MEANS YOU’VE BEEN BEATING A FELLA UP THATS NEVER TRAINED TO FIGHT.

That’s just bad taste.

If you’re a member of or will now be offering a £20 a month membership for a 30 min appointment once a month.

🔴Injury assessments
🔴Recovery protocols
🔴Sports massages

You’re not going to get told to stretch and take 2 months off.

Sam’s a seasoned competitive grappler and knows how we all respond to that kinda advice 😂

Crazy value.

Drop a message to get it sorted.

Jumping isn’t vital for grappling.

Grapplings nearly all contact. If you’re limited on time usually liftings the way forward… but for how long it takes and the benefits you get long term AND how sick it is to jump about.

Adding 5 mins to the start of a lifting session goes far long term.

Jeffy curls are getting better. A little heavier and a lot stricter than last week.

Liking them right now, I love dead’s but I’m liking how much these blow my hammies up and leave me fresh as a daisy for rounds tonight.

There’s no rhyme or reason to these videos, I’m training I video my main lifts and jumps to watch back.

Have chats with people all the time that spark random thoughts about P.E

Stick em together and see if it stops grapplers/fighters from entering hyrox classes then gassing and getting smashed in comps 🥰

Ive ordered a bunch of photos for the entrance hall.
Comps, fights, stupid stuff that happens in the gym etc…

I’ve ordered 400+ but instagram only lets you post 20.

Summaries the gym kinda well I think.
