Our club is proud to have four fantastic women already serving on our committee, playing a huge role in driving the development, ambition and future direction of Penlan RFC.

This is something we believe is genuinely worth celebrating. These women aren’t simply having a seat at the table they are helping shape the future of our club, driving positive change and playing a key role in our continued growth.

Their commitment, leadership and fresh perspectives are helping create a stronger, more inclusive and forward-thinking club, while showing the next generation that women have an important and influential role to play at every level of rugby.

We’re proud that Penlan RFC is helping drive positive change in Welsh rugby at grassroots level.

Penlan RFC are delighted to announce that Rebecca Murphy has been voted in for her FOURTH term as Club Secretary!👏🏉

Rebecca’s commitment, dedication and tireless work behind the scenes have played a huge part in the continued development and growth of Penlan RFC.

From our junior section right through to our senior teams, the progress our club has made over recent years is something to be incredibly proud of — and a huge amount of that success is thanks to Rebecca’s hard work, organisation and passion for the club.

Rebecca also holds the incredible distinction of being the only female Club Secretary across South Wales a fantastic achievement and one that Penlan RFC are immensely proud of. 💪

Rebecca continues to show the importance of women in leadership and the positive impact they can have at every level of rugby.

Four terms, going into her 10th year & countless hours and an unwavering commitment to Penlan RFC.

We would like to highlight a hardworking young lad from our rugby club who is currently training to become a barber.

He is friendly, dedicated, and always eager to improve. It’s been great to see his confidence and skills develop as he continues learning.

Even our club chairman has had a haircut from him and was very pleased with the result.

As a club, we value supporting our younger members as they build their futures. Encouragement and opportunity can make a real difference at this stage in their development.

Donna continues to be a fantastic ambassador for our club, and we are incredibly proud to have her representing Penlan RFC at the highest level.

Rugby has traditionally been a male-dominated environment, so having a strong, passionate, and committed woman like Donna in a leadership role is something we are extremely proud of. Her contribution shows that women have an important and powerful voice in the future of our club and our game. 💪🏉

We are delighted to announce that Rhys Webber has officially put pen to paper for the upcoming 2026/27 season! ✍️⚡️

Rhys brings energy, sharp instincts, and fantastic work rate to the senior squad. Having players of his caliber committed and ready to give everything for the jersey is a massive boost as pre-season continues to build momentum. 🏉💪

We can't wait to see Rhys putting in big performances in the blue and yellow again this year! 🔥

Rhys is a true Penlan leader through and through. Having skippered the side and put in years of dedication to the badge, his experience, standards, and composure are priceless to this squad. He knows exactly what it means to wear the blue and yellow and leads by example every single time he steps over the white line. 🧠🏉💪
