1 week since my First Half Marathon
The hottest, hillyest run of my life 🥵
What an incredible atmosphere 🤩 I had goosebumps for the majority of this run, completely overwhelmed by the amount of strangers in the street cheering everyone on, handing out sweets, spraying water to keep us cool, waving banners and playing music to keep us going 🥰
It was a tough one, I wanted as close to 2hrs as possible and am over the moon with my 2hr .32 of a second chip time 🙌🏽🙌🏽
A sprinter at heart, I'm still trying to fully 'enjoy' these longer distances...this one helped with that a lot, I genuinely did enjoy it, totally surprising myself 😅
Constantly striving to do better, I know I've got so much more in the tank and cannot wait for the next one 💪🏼
Forever greatful for .runs.marathons and the amazing .x girls...making this running malarkey that little bit more bearable 🫶🏽😘

As the last of my London Marathoners pass through the clinic this week, I just want to wish everyone participating on Sunday GOOD LUCK 🍀

1 week since and my First PB in what feels like FOREVER 🙌🏽🙌🏽
54.31 and with minimal runs leading up to it due to an injury 🫠
I needed this SO bad. I'd plateaued with my 5k pace and just felt like whatever I did wasn't good enough 😔
Being injured messes with your head...you rest, you think you're improving, so you get back to it, only to realise you're not improving as quickly as you'd thought, so have to rest again 🙄
This has been a big 'baby steps' recovery and I finally feel we're moving in the right direction....half marathon...I'm coming for you (slowly 😉) XxX

🏀I had the pleasure of giving these amazing ladies a massage before their training session last night🏀
They have been training incredibly hard, finishing the year with 2 back to back wins and are now joint second in the league 💪🏼 so fully deserved a bit of TLC to end their season💞
Thank you to their coach for organising it for them, I know they were all very appreciative!
