Skatepark open as usual, unaffected by events around the lakes, the park area around the lakes remains closed

Over the last few weeks we have had a small number of incidents where property (including mobile phones and a bike) has been stolen from park users in the Arboretum. The majority of the incidents are taking place around the skatepark area - we would therefore recommend, where possible to skate with others when using the facility, particularly if visiting the park after the official closing time (currently 5.30pm).
The Arboretum Team kindly request that all park users remain vigilant, whilst continuing to enjoy the park and its facilities. These incidences are rare but we all need to work together to tackle crime within the park. If you have any concerns please feel free to leave comments below or inbox us.
