Please if you want to do something good today, take a moment to read and share one of our incredible players dad’s story.

Unfortunately one of our U13’s superstars Harry’s dad Craig was diagnosed with terminal cancer on his 50th birthday a few months ago.

Craig is a fantastic support and spent most games last season watching his boy lift the league trophy with his team mates whilst running the line for us.

We’re not the biggest club but one thing we make sure at FC Manton is that we look after our own. Harry is an incredible talent, a pleasure to coach, a supportive team mate and the most polite young lad we’ve had the pleasure of knowing and we are heartbroken for the whole family.

U12’s 🙌🏻🐺🩵

A tough day at the office for our lads who was without their usual keeper due to injury. However they all battled hard, never gave up, worked hard for each other and created plenty of chances against a very good opposition side, but it just wasn’t our day. There was plenty of positives to take away from it and we know these boys will put in the work at training as they look to bounce back next week! 💪🏼🐺🩵

U13’s defy odds to top the table! 🙌🏻

Between injuries, sickness bugs and a freak biking accident that saw us lose our number 1 the night before, we thought luck just wasn’t going to be on our side.

A few positional changes and Henry covering in goal we knew we was going to be up against it. However with the personnel improvements we’ve made this season and the OG Manton lads with that never say die attitude, saw us come from behind not once but twice.

In the dying minutes of the game keeper Henry pulled off an incredible double save to maintain our lead, however much to everybody’s surprise the opposition was gifted a penalty that was knocked on to cross bar for Manton to secure all 3 points! 💪🏼

Huge credit to the opposition GK who’s positioning and bravery stopped some fantastic efforts from our front line throughout the game👏

First game of the season for the boys today against Wingerworth Sharks — and what an opener! 🔥⚽️

The message was simple: intense, pressurise, dominate the play, and the chances will come.

And come they did! 🙌

An unbelievable performance from all the boys today. Plenty of goals, a hat-trick thrown in, along with a clean sheet in our first game of the season! 🧤👏

There was some fantastic football on display today, with some great passing and movement, including some brilliant one-touch passing in the triangles. The boys moved the ball quickly, found space and really showed the benefits of playing as a team.

What was particularly pleasing was that, despite the scoreline, the boys never stopped playing the right way. They continued to pass, move, support each other and look for the next opportunity rather than switching off or playing as individuals.

An absolutely solid performance from start to finish and a fantastic way to start the campaign. 💪🔥

U13’s start off with a bang! 💥

What an amazing start to the season!

New players, new ambitions, same outcome! 🙌🏻

After dominating the league last season, our incredible much improved u13’s took to life in their new league and started off with a fantastic 4-1 win. The lads could of grabbed a few more as both Michael and Peter hit the woodwork and Owen going agonising close to getting a brace and Freddie just missing out on a debut hat-trick thanks to the goal keeper. We controlled the midfield with Malachi and Harry doing what they do best and our back line in Peter, Brooklyn and Alex doing their defensive duties well but the score line was kept to just 1 against us thanks to the main between the sticks himself Rhysy boy who pulled off some excellent saves!

Managers player of the match - Freddie 🏆 Freddie was all over the pitch today doing both his defensive and attacking duties and grabbing himself 2 goals for the trouble.
