Tight hips don’t always mean you need to stretch.

Sometimes your body is looking for better stability and control before it needs more flexibility.

Try this activation drill first, then stand up, walk around and notice how your hips feel before reaching for a stretch.

💚 Save this to try before your next workout and let me know if you notice a difference.

Ready to move with less pain, better control and more confidence? Inside Align & Strong you’ll find step-by-step Pilates, strength, mobility and biomechanics programmes designed to help you build your body from the ground up.

Comment “METHOD” and I’ll send you the details.

Most people see more training as the answer to a plateau.

I see it as something worth questioning, especially after 40.

If your body has stopped responding the way it used to, there may be a reason adding more intensity is no longer working.

During perimenopause, your hormonal environment shifts. Oestrogen and progesterone fluctuate, and that affects how your body manages cortisol. When cortisol is unstable, it can stay elevated for longer after training.

That can increase fat storage, particularly around the midsection. It can slow muscle repair after a hard session. And it can create a fatigue that rest alone won’t fix.

Your nervous system is not separate from your training. It determines whether your body is in a state that allows recovery or one that is stuck in survival mode.

This is where Pilates, mobility and breathing-focused movement come in.

Not as lighter alternatives.

As a way to help your nervous system settle, so cortisol comes back down and your strength work can actually do its job.

Align & Strong combines Pilates with strength training in structured pathways, built to give you real stimulus without the stress cycle that may be holding you back, and what’s more exciting is my new Meno glow 6 week programme and Nutrition is ready now and you can buy it whilst on special offer that means you only pay £20 for the 6 week nutrition when buying the complete package.

Comment Meno Glow for the complete package to buy yours forever or comment STRONG and I’ll get you set up with the 14-day free trial, so you can start training in a way that works with your hormones, not against them.

Meno glow 6 week training has just been launched on the app but the Nutrition is a separate purchase.

Pilates and strength training aren’t competing, they’re complementary.

Pilates teaches you to move with better control, stability and awareness.

Strength training helps you build and maintain muscle, support your bones and increase what your body is capable of.

As we get older, we don’t need to choose one over the other. We need the right type of training for the right goal.

That’s why I created Align & Strong.

Inside the app you’ll find dedicated Pilates programmes, progressive strength programmes, Pain management programmes and hybrid workouts, all built around biomechanics to help you move better, get stronger and stay active for life.

You also get high protein recipes to support your goals.

Train for the body you want today… and the body you’ll be grateful for in years to come.

Pelvic floor weakness and abdominal separation aren’t fixed by endless crunches, they’re rebuilt by reconnecting your breath, deep core and movement patterns.

This five exercise sequence is designed to help improve pelvic floor function, strengthen your deep core and build better stability without placing unnecessary pressure through your abdomen.

Whether you’re postnatal, managing diastasis recti or simply want to create a stronger foundation, quality movement always comes before intensity.

Exercise 1: Breath and pelvic floor connection with a gentle ball squeeze.

Exercise 2: Supine knee twists to improve rotational control while maintaining deep core engagement.

Exercise 3: Seated double knee openers to challenge pelvic stability and hip control.

Exercise 4: Side forearm lying oblique knee twists to strengthen the side body and improve trunk control.

Exercise 5: Half side plank with a ball squeeze to build lateral core strength and pelvic stability.

The goal isn’t to do more, it’s to move better. When your breathing, pelvic floor and deep core work together, everything else becomes stronger.

My full Healing Core programme takes you through the complete step-by-step progression and is available inside the Align & Strong app.

Comment “CORE” and I’ll send you the Healing Core link.

Most people think core training is all about getting stronger abs.

But your deep core is there to create stability before movement. When it isn’t doing its job well, other muscles often step in to compensate, which can affect how you move and how your body feels.

In this Small Ball Series, we start by activating the deep core, then gradually challenge it by adding leg movement, rotation, glute stability and hamstring control. It’s not about rushing through harder exercises, it’s about teaching your body to coordinate movement with control.

When your deep core, glutes and hamstrings work together, you build a stronger foundation for everything from lifting weights to everyday movement.

💾 Save this workout and come back to it later.

👇 Comment “METHOD” and I’ll send you the link to my Deep Core Method, where you’ll find this full Small Ball Series plus the next stages to help you build strength with control.

Anyone can follow a diet for a few days or even a few weeks.

The real challenge isn’t knowing what to eat, it’s staying consistent when your goals change, life gets busy or your mindset starts to wobble.

Sometimes we’re in a calorie deficit to lose body fat. Other times we deliberately increase calories or move into maintenance to build muscle, improve performance and give the body a chance to recover before the next phase.

Those transitions can be the hardest part.

Many people feel uncomfortable eating more because they’re worried about gaining weight, even when it’s the right thing to do. Others struggle when it’s time to return to a deficit because motivation has dipped or old habits start creeping back in.

This is where coaching makes all the difference.

You don’t just get a nutrition plan, you get someone who understands why you’re in each phase, keeps you accountable, helps you work through the mental side of the journey and adjusts your plan as your body and goals change.

That’s exactly why I created Team Sculpt.

Inside Team Sculpt, everything is tailored to you. You’ll receive personalised nutrition coaching, regular check-ins, accountability, education and the support you need to build habits that actually last. You’ll also have access to the Team Sculpt community, where you’ll find extra guidance, motivation and resources to help you stay on track.

Even coaches have coaches. I’ve invested in coaching myself because I know that having someone in your corner helps you stay focused, see the bigger picture and keep moving towards your goals.

As a special bonus, while you’re part of my coaching programme you’ll also have full access to everything inside my Align & Strong app, including strength programmes, Pilates classes, rehabilitation plans, mobility sessions, recipes, educational content and much more to support you every step of the way.

You don’t have to do this alone.

If you’re ready to stop starting over and want support that’s built around you, comment SCULPT or send me a message and let’s chat about whether Team Sculpt is the right fit for you.
