Who is really benefiting from the victim's silence? 'Be the bigger person, let it go, move on' all benefit the perpetrator. Victims benefit from finding their voice and from refusing to play along and participate in false narratives (we just were incompatible, we were too young, we both made mistakes, we are a happy family) 💯💯💯

We need to start separating the neurotype from dysregulation as expressed by the neurotype. The medical model believes that the dysregulation IS a symptom of the neurotype eg a symptom of ADHD is to be disorganised, a symptom of autism is social anxiety. No, these are symptoms of dysregulation as expressed by ADHD or Autism. You can heal the dysregulation. You can discover neurodivergence as just a different brain wiring with many strengths 💪💖✨
