Sports Science from the University of St Mary’s (London, Twickenham). Within the 3 years living in London reading for my degree, I have coached athletics intermediate age group Richmond Athletics team also worked at Holland & Barrett health shop, coach u/10 football and also worked as a personal trainer with Chrissie Gallagher-Mundy from Personal Training Academy, arguably one of the best Personal

Trainers in the U.K. After graduating I moved back to Malta and started working as a Strength & Conditioning coach, providing training specifically for athlete’s needs. This was something missing on the island having athletes following programs not tailored for their specific needs. In the past 2 years I’ve gained experience as an athletics and football coach having my main focus on strength & conditioning. As a strength & conditioning coach in Malta, the experience is vast having worked in the following sports: Rugby, Swimming, Football, Open Water Swimmers, Basketball, Hockey, Golf, Waterpolo & Sailing. For the season 2015-2016 I was appointed as National Junior Waterpolo & National Swimming Strength & Conditioning coach, helping swimmers achieve various national records and personal bests. Over this year reaching the top in performance sports when I was entrusted with the fitness of 5 sailors (Tunisia, Algeria, Seychelles, Egypt) to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games 2016 & subsequently their fitness to compete in the games. Currently working on a Masters in Strength & Conditioning with St Mary’s University to always keep up with the latest research & always seek to improve my own coaching skills also being able to provide better service to the athlete. The creation of Sports Performance - N.M is to focus on a platform in which my philosophy of coaching is spread. When working with athletes the main focus on is a scientific-based approach in which the exercises, modalities and methods used are all proven and backed up by literature. Performance & injury prevention are the two main pillars which the philosophy of coaching by myself is based upon. I’m also proud to say that I have been appointed as an Anti-Doping Ambassador, to work against drugs in sports which is something at heart.

Well, I guess the World Cup is over, so this post feels fitting.

Thank you, Cristiano Ronaldo, for inspiring a generation not just through football, but by showing us what relentless hard work, discipline, and taking care of yourself truly look like. You taught us to strive to become the best version of ourselves every single day.

Some things are measured by trophies, but inspiring generations transcends silverware. That legacy lasts forever.

Working for Valletta FC last year came with the expectation of being among the great teams, where winning was not an option but the only acceptable outcome. This was driven by the rich history and tradition of this great club.

However, last season was only the club’s first year back in the top flight after competing in the Challenge League the year before.

In time, we will truly appreciate the remarkable achievements of the 2025/26 season winning the double and only missing out on the league title through a penalty shootout.

I would also like to thank all the coaches and committees who showed interest in my services for the coming season, which left me truly humbled. The faith is locked in, and I look forward to continuing to serve the greatest Capitol for the long run.

We go again: better, bolder, and hungrier for more 💪🏼
