Took me a while to sit down and write this… but I guess good things take time.

Some say, “Oh, you must plan a lot?”… In reality, I don’t. I work, I overwork every single day without much thought. I love it. It’s what I’ve become. The one thing I don’t allow is being outworked by anyone else.

And this youth league victory is one of those examples of hard work falling into place later on in life. The student who became a colleague over the years, players I was lucky enough to coach in the past now being on the same team, and many other examples I could mention. None of these projects were done with this moment in mind, but they were all acts of grind, trusting that one day it would pay off leaving it up to destiny, the Creator, God, energy, or whatever you believe in to bring it all together when the time is right.

Knowing where this group started and how far they’ve come, especially considering all the obstacles along the way, makes this even more special.

The patience and professionalism shown by Mister and Stefan Giglio are second to none.

Together with everyone else involved, they managed to achieve what once seemed impossible to possible. Only a handful could foresee this outcome, and they never stopped working towards it.
