AND NEWWWWWW….. DR. Sobejana from the VU Amsterdam, Faculty of Medicine🥳🎓
After dedicating about 6 years to researching exercise and physical activity on rheumatoid arthritis patients, I can now close this chapter of my life.
A very bittersweet moment because I loved doing research and I was very passionate about my topic. I loved the idea that my research could make an impact in the clinical world. However, it’s now about exploring the new chapter of my life (i.e. being more at the forefront when it comes to helping people through in-person & online coaching).
Again, nothing can be achieved alone and I have so many people to thank for this: my supervisors, colleagues, promotion committee, just to name a few.
I couldn’t be more grateful too to everyone who showed up yesterday and to those who watched the livestream. Your support meant the world to me💜 .cruzgoellnitz
I also dragged both and to being my paranymphs hahaha but thank you for being there despite us having 0 clue what was happening half the time🤣💜

Leg sesh 4/4: solid sesh, full control of the weights and legs were so dead after.
All exercises for today are shown and are done in this exact order.
Very happy with how training went this week. Planned my week out to the T so all boxes were ticked - sleep, nutrition, steps, recovery.
Ugh I just love training so much and I’m just looking forward to doing this week after week, for as long as my body can take it.

Ok now it’s officially the start of my push phase😅😅
Finally fit enough to get a full session in after last week’s chaos haha. I did train with a 1-2RIR but I’m glad I could still hit the weights and reps I had from before I had my deload. Movements felt really good too woohooo! So happy to be back training again🥳

May duuumppp
A month full of doing what I love, new opportunities, laughter, sunny days and growth. I’ve also been going hard on the no sugar, less ice, bubble tea combo this month🤣
Lesson of this month: change is uncomfortable but so needed to level up on life🌱
A lot of change this month and I honestly struggled quite a bit both mentally and physically. I really questioned my choices but I have some goals I want to achieve and I know they won’t be achieved with what I’m doing currently.

And just like that, the health phase is done and we’re starting the push phase this week!!!🤩
1 week post show vs. today
Today’s the last day of my deload and we’ll start with proper training again tomorrow. Both my body and mind are feeling good and recovered so I’m more than ready to get this phase started!!
I’ve also used this health phase to find the right gym and environment for me to allow for the most conducive training sessions. I’ve gotten used to all the equipment and have found the right set ups for them so it’s all about sending it now.
The plan now is to have at least 2 push phases before we start planning for another show. Ya girl’s got lots of legs and glutes to grow hahah

Another week, another chance to improve on my exercise ex*****on.
Yesterday’s leg session summarised in a few words: brutaaaaal but soooo fun!!!
Spent the last few weeks sending my wo vids to for feedback and the only exercise left to really nail and figure is my smith back squats. I faced the right direction this time (lol) so it’s all about figuring out the right foot placement and being consistent with it now.
I’ve been having 0 issues with my lower back too soooo time to send it😈

Raw leg footage from today.
Another solid session in the books! Still not a 100% recovered but we’re getting there. Training with 0 RIR today and finally found the perfect set up for the leg machine in my gym.
No better feeling that being able to push 100% and not be limited by the machine itself when it comes to ROM. Also gave the BB B-stance RDLs a go again since I’m able to load the bar a lot more now. Felt sooo good and will def be sticking to this again.
Legs were friiiieeeeddd after this session. Rest day tomorrow then it’s time to run it back again on Monday🤪
