📸 Weekend Rugby Recap

The final weekend of junior rugby for the season wrapped up at the Ashburton Showgrounds, with JAB Town v Country Day and the Teenage Finals providing a fitting finish to the year.

The Teenage Finals produced two highly competitive matches, with Mid Canterbury Alps taking out the Year 9 final over a spirited Mid Canterbury Plains, while Methven came away with the Year 10/11 title over Hampstead, in what was an impressive display of teenage rugby played at its best from both sides.

Congratulations to all the teams who took part in the day, and to the players, coaches, referees, volunteers, parents and supporters who have contributed throughout the season.

A great day to finish off another cracking season of junior & teenage rugby across Mid Canterbury. 🏉

Wishing the MC Combined Girls 1st XV the best of luck for their final on Wednesday.
