My car is a BMW E36 M3 #477, and one of the photos below will give you a sense of the field (at lease half of it)...

Today's race is the three hour Classic race called DHLM, which starts here at 4:00PM here, which is 2:00AM NZST.

The drift show is after the classic race if you are into that sort of thing.

I love the 'track walk' where you drive around Nordschleife because it shows how steep the track is, amongst other things. Yesterday was Nordschleife Permit training. I don't need to do this but I always learn something and it gives me about 16 laps of Nordschleife to get my head into the track driving in a BMW 330. Then it was doing administrative stuff for the three hour classic race on Friday night, which is in a BMW M3, which I am yet to meet. My 24-hour car is #969. I find it weird how my first training lap here leaves me wondering why anyone would drive fast on this complex, fast and scary track and by your last training lap your road tyres squealing while the car skips across the track and 160kph doesn't feel fast. This is a mental brilliant place.
