There was still heaps of snow on the ground for our WEDNESDAY afternoon adventure on the 5th August with Olive, Arlo, Fergus, Saskia, Lulu, Ruby, Flash & Baxter. There was some entertainment for me as we headed up the forest road, they were all barking profusely at a snowman ⛄️ refusing to go past, I finally got them past and then we came across a giant snowball which was equally as scary apparently 🤪 Saskia was on fine form leaping in to the icy cold water, she hasn’t been swimming as much lately due to the cold so I thought it was safe for her to be in her jumper, but no, she flew in jumper and all, so of course had to have the jumper removed for the rest of the adventure. It was so beautiful and so wonderful watching them all have so much fun frolicking in all the snow ❄️

There was still plenty of snow on the ground for our WEDNESDAY morning adventure on the 5th August with Bella, Milly, Otis, Zeke, Cheese, Cotton, Zeva, Ruby, Flash & Baxter. Fun times chasing pinecones and rummaging about in the snow covered undergrowth on the hunt for bunnies. Milly, Bella & Zeke all braved the cold and leapt into the icy cold pond, I’m sure they were very grateful for their warm water wash off at the end of the adventure.

What a treat! It was heavily snowing and so incredibly beautiful for our adventure on TUESDAY 4th August with Lucy, Milly, Honey, Scott, Cheese, Moss, Flash & Baxter. So much fun was had bounding through the soft fluffy powder doing their usual hunting for bunnies, it truly was a winter wonderland made all the more special watching the dogs have so much FUN!

Suki, Sadie, Ravi, Arlo, Olive, Fern, Tui, Flash & Baxter had a great time on MONDAY 3rd August racing around after each other, hunting for bunnies, splashing about in the pond and generally having a fabulous time. A wonderful start to the week.

Super fun times on Matariki FRIDAY with Suki, Saskia, Lucy, Bailey, Zeke, Shelby, Flash & Baxter. It was a frosty morning, so the reservoir was cold but that didn’t stop Zeke and Bailey constantly leaping in to race for the stick! Saskia was more hesitant but had her fair share of stick retrieval. Lots of fun exploring the bush and chasing pinecones in the forest, with an impromptu zoomie session from Lucy who was in quite a playful mood. A fun rowdy energetic bunch who had a great time 💦 A lovely way to end a wet week under slightly blue sky.

Scott, Frankie, Moss, Milly, Cookie, Sadie, Ruby, Ravi, Flash & Baxter has a super fun time on THURSDAY 9th July. There was still loads of excess water and puddles around for them to slosh about it, lots of bunnies to hunt for and plenty of pinecones to keep Ruby happy. We finished our adventure with lots of water play at the waterhole, which was still a fast flowing river instead of a stream, the perfect way to clean those muddy bodies.

The rain had eased for our WEDNESDAY afternoon adventure on the 8th July with Olive, Arlo, Fergus, Marley, Saskia, Flippy, Lulu, Ruby, Flash & Baxter but the ground, grass and bushes were so wet it may as well still have been pouring down 💦 This didn’t stop this crew from having an action packed adventure, so much running around hunting for bunnies and splashing through puddles. The whippet girls started out with jackets on, Flippy lost hers in the bushes 🥴 and I had to remove Saskia’s as it was so sodden there was absolutely no point in her having it on, it was just weighing her down, they just had to run a bit faster to keep warm! Lots of soggy dogs to wash down with warm water and rub dry before taking them home to curl up by the fire and dream of all the bunnies they were chasing 🐇

The rain was back in force and totally relentless for our WEDNESDAY morning adventure on the 8th July with Bella, Milly, Cheese, Cotton, Zeva, Moss, Otis, Ruby, Flash & Baxter. Lots more puddles and even rivers running along the tracks and I have never seen the little forest pond so full. The rain didn’t stop these kids from having fun, although the Poodles and Baxter were totally over the rain about half way through, but they soldiered on regardless. Everyone was most appreciative of their warm water wash down and vigorous towel dry after being so incredibly wet throughout the entire adventure 💦

The rain was still falling, quite heavy at times, for our TUESDAY adventure on 7th July with Cookie, Sadie, Shelby, Lucy, Milly, Zeva, Honey, Scott, Flash & Baxter. So much fun racing through the forest, splashing in puddles, chasing pinecones and finishing up with an icy swim in the stream which was now a fast flowing river, lots of soggy dogs again 💦

It was the start of a week of very wet walks on MONDAY 6th July; after a night of very heavy and continuous rain the night before, Suki, Honey, Zeke, Ravi, Arlo, Olive, Fern, Tui, Flash & Baxter had lots of fresh puddles, new ponds and flowing rivers to play in during our super fun but very soggy adventure.
