We have recently heard about scary incidents occurring with runners on Titirangi/Kaiti Hill.
We really want everyone in our community of runners and walkers to be safe doing what they love and enjoying our environment and unfortunately there are people out there who seem to thrive on intimidating and scaring people.

PLEASE, if you are out running or walking at night, take a bright torch and maybe a whistle. Even better... go with a friend or a group.
Take particular care up Titirangi maunga at night.

The PURIRI FARM TRAIL RUN that was set for this Sunday 28 June IS POSTPONED due to the forecasted rain for the next few days.
We will reschedule this event for later in the season.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Pouawa Citrus Farm on Sunday! It was a fantastic turnout, with over 200 participants.
We hope all the young runners that came along liked their yellow finisher ribbons! Remember - if you collect 5 different coloured finisher ribbons you win a cool Harriers trucker cap! So hang onto them.

Special thanks to Ian and Louise for hosting us and to the volunteers from Wainui Beach School for providing the amazing kai 🙌
