I have bought many yoga mats but this prolite 5 mm long is my most favourite by a country mile. Its dense stylish long enough and non slip so i needed to buy a second. I love it and i adore the little frog symbol at the top of the mat.

For the past ten years I have been loyal to a different brand that is cheaper & I loved my previous mats but I would be lucky to get 18 months before it would feel slippery, to mitigate risk for injury I would have to back off my asanas.
The Pro 6mm Long is a game changer. Yes it is significantly more expensive but as soon as I stepped onto my mat it felt supportive yet soft & smooth & yet it gripped me. Immediately I experienced deeper Asanas, smoother transitions, protected joints, hands & wrists.
Before investing in this mat, I researched a number of reviews & yes there was a break in period but I achieved that in less than a week of daily practice - no salt scrub required.
If you are tall you will absolutely love the extra length - the extra length creates a new sense of space to move freely.
I personally rely on reviews so hopefully this feedback helps someone else. This mat is truly amazing so much so I bought another for my husband & he absolutely loves his mat.
