Khandallah Playgroup An indoor & outdoor play space for Under 5's & their parents/caregivers to enjoy! Please note we are closed for the school holidays.

Welcome! ​Khandallah Playgroup provides an indoor and outdoor play space for babies, young children and their caregivers. We offer a well resourced play space where children learn, explore and have fun! On top of all the wonderful activities, toys, books and crafts inside - our indoor facility also includes a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with baby changing facilities. Our outdoor facility includes a playground, playhouse, picnic table and seats, water play area, sandpit, and space to run around freely and play! Playgroup sessions run Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm (except for Thursday session time 12.30-4.30pm) and are for children aged under 5 years including babies. By enrolling in your preferred weekday session, you can attend any additional sessions you like during the week. Khandallah Playgroup is run entirely by parents who generously volunteer their time to keep our service up and running and create a safe, welcoming environment for all members. Our facilities are also available to hire in the weekend. It's the perfect place for children's parties, antenatal group catch up and other child friendly events. Our outdoor area got upgraded! 😮

We’ve been busy over the school holidays making improvements to our outdoor space.

We know lots of our whānau had been slipping on the steep, muddy bank down to the picnic table and playground, so making this area safer and easier to access was really important to us.

A huge thank you to Pub Charity Limited and Ministry of Education – New Zealand for helping make this project possible. We are incredibly grateful for your support!

You will also notice our fairy garden has had a little makeover too.✨🧚‍♀️

A huge thank you to our wonderful Chairperson Elle for all her time and support to our playgroup. We are so sad to see you step down but so grateful for having your expertise on the committee.
