June 20,2026 will be the 50th Anniversary Showtime for Chris Collins Dance Studio. If you know anyone who danced at CCDS in the last 50 years please spread the word. 💕 Katie Henderson was one of a kind - a CCDS alum who radiated happiness. Unfortunately, Katie passed from breast cancer a few years ago.

Katie was an incredible performer and talented dancer - but what touched us the most about knowing Katie was how kind she was. Always smiling, always supportive. She was truly a gift to everyone that knew her.

We are honoring Katie’s memory by presenting a scholarship to a dancer at the 50th Anniversary recital, called the “Kind Like Katie” scholarship. The recipient of the scholarship will possess the same qualities we love about Katie.

All money raised will go directly to the Kind Like Katie scholarship. The recipient will be able to use the scholarship money towards dance expenses the following year.

🚨New Mini Competition team at CCDS!🚨 We are so excited to start a new mini group of company dancers this summer! No audition is required for this mini group of 5 and 6 year olds. Just sign up for our summer session to join the fun!

Mini Company classes are on Tuesdays this summer, and start July 14. Register for the following classes to try our mini company:
Combo Jazz: 4:30-5
Combo Ballet: 5-5:30
Combo Tap: 5:30-6

Do you have a 5 or 6 year old that loves to dance? Sign them up for our new mini company! No auditions required for this age! Classes are on Tuesdays in our summer session - Jazz, ballet and tap! 4:30-6pm!

❤️🤍 CCDS finished out our competition season with a 💥BANG💥 We had an absolute blast at our two last regional competitions, and are so excited for Recital and Nationals! ❤️🤍

❤️🤍 So proud to have earned Top Elite Studio at Platinum National Dance Competition!! And on top of that, our Jazz production, Start Your Engines won the highest technique award! 🏁🏁

What an amazing finish to our regional season!! In the last two weeks, we attended Platinum and On Point Dance competitions, and had an absolute blast at both! We are excited to share some highlights over the next few days!
