Today, we celebrate the work.
The early mornings. The extra reps. The commitment when no one is watching.
Here’s to everyone who continues to show up, put in the work, and earn what comes next.
Happy Labor Day from ETS Performance 🇺🇸

Talk about a kid who comes in every day and challenges himself to do better, be better, and get better. I introduce to you Briggs Lynett!
Although Briggs’ time with us has been short so far, he has been unbelievably locked in when it comes to getting better for hockey and lacrosse.
Briggs is one of those athletes who just needs a challenge, and he’ll go out and chase it. Set a goal in front of him and watch the work begin.
Keep up the great work, Briggs! Keep doing you, keep chasing the next challenge, and there’s no telling where you’ll go!

Why do we go out in the community?
What we do is about so much more than the training that happens inside these four walls.
It’s not just the speed times.
It’s not just the weight on the bar.
It’s not just the jump heights or the numbers on a test.
A huge part of what we do relies on trust.
Being a true coach means taking the time to know your athletes… not just as athletes, but as people. It means following along with their lives, showing up to their games, cheering them on, celebrating their successes, and supporting them when things don’t go their way.
Because when we understand who our athletes are outside of the gym, we can become better coaches inside of it.
We want our athletes to know that we care about more than their performance. We care about their growth, their confidence, their character, and the people they’re becoming.
That’s why we go out into the community.
We don’t just train athletes. We build relationships. We build people. We build family.
We are the ETS Fam… and that’s what makes us special.

A new school year means a fresh opportunity to get better in the classroom, at practice, and in your training.
Being a student-athlete isn’t easy. There will be busy days, long practices, tough workouts, and plenty of distractions. But remember:
📚 Be a student first. Stay on top of your work.
🏃 Be present. Give your best effort when you’re at practice.
🏋️ Train with purpose. Two quality training days can make a difference.
😴 Recover. Sleep, nutrition, and rest matter.
🎯 Stay consistent. Small habits repeated every day create big results.
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to keep showing up and keep moving forward.
BE A STUDENT FIRST.
BE AN ATHLETE ALWAYS.
Don’t shoot for perfection. Shoot for CONSISTENCY.

Why does pregame/training nutrition matter?
Your body can only perform with the fuel you give it.
The goal of pregame nutrition is to provide athletes with the energy they need to compete at their best. Eating the right foods before competition helps maintain energy levels, improve focus, delay fatigue and support performance from the first whistle to the last.
A good pregame meal should focus on carbohydrates for energy, include some protein, and be paired with proper hydration. What you eat before a game won’t make you faster overnight, but it can help you perform to your potential when it matters most.
Don’t let poor nutrition be the reason you leave performance on the table.
