Our training focuses on strength, speed, agility, injury prevention, work ethic, and mental toughness that carries over to every sport and every season.

June 7, 2026
Today I turn 40.
That feels strange to say because in a lot of ways I feel better than I did at 20, when I was a young Marine, fighting house to house in a war zone that ruins men and women.
My hair has turned silver. My beard is doing its best to catch up. Life has handed me victories, losses, heartbreak, stress, responsibility, and more lessons than I can count. I’ve buried people I love. I’ve raised children. I’ve built businesses. I’ve failed. I’ve started over. More than once.
Through all of it, one thing has remained constant.
I kept moving. Not without setbacks. I make sure that I am always doing something.
I’ve had seasons where my nutrition was dialed in and seasons where it wasn’t. Times when training felt easy and times when I had to drag myself into the gym. Times when life was calm and times when everything felt like it was falling apart.
What I’ve learned is that results are rarely built in the big moments. They’re built in the small decisions repeated over and over again.
A walk when you don’t feel like walking.
A workout when you’re tired.
A better meal choice when nobody is watching.
Getting back up after a bad week instead of quitting after a bad week.
I struggle with these still! I am far from perfect but progress can be perfectly executed over time.
Forty didn’t happen overnight, and neither did the body, mindset, and health I have today.
The silver hair showed up one day at a time.
The strength was built one workout at a time.
The discipline was built one choice at a time.
Today I feel blessed. I feel grateful. I feel focused. And at 40, I feel pretty jacked.
Not because I’m special. Because I stayed consistent long enough to become the man I am striving to be. I am still doing this every single day.

You don’t need to become who you were at 20.

One year ago, Jess walked through our doors intimidated by the gym environment, but determined to make a change.
Today, we’re celebrating her 1-Year Gymversary at Kilo Foxtrot Fitness.
Over the last 12 months, Jess has shown what happens when consistency beats perfection.
12 months of strength training.
12 months of showing up even when it wasn’t easy.
12 months of getting stronger physically and mentally.
12 months of building friendships, sharing laughs, overcoming challenges, and finding support through life’s ups and downs.
12 months of learning to give herself grace while continuing to push forward.
12 months of creating habits that will continue to serve her health and fitness goals for years to come.
One line from her reflection stood out:

That’s what this journey is really about.
As coaches, we can teach exercises and build programs, but the real transformation happens when someone decides they are worth investing in and refuses to quit.

Love seeing this! So proud of all our young athletes!
As the coach, there’s nothing better than seeing hard work turn into confidence.
When athletes first start training, they’re learning the basics, asking questions, and figuring things out. Then one day, you realize they’re moving with confidence, getting stronger, and performing at a whole new level.
Hearing, “He doesn’t ask me how to do the exercises anymore. He just knows,” is exactly why we do what we do.
And seeing that growth show up on the ice, on the field, on the court, and in everyday life makes it even more rewarding.
Strength. Confidence. Performance.
Hard work pays off. 💪

Sarah has been on the clean eating plan, that we provide to our Kilo Fighters, for a month now.
Some key indicators of clean eating:
1. Her eyes are brighter and lost the darkness under her eyes
2. She has an increase in energy
3. Her workouts are better
4. Her definition ( very noticeable in the arms and shoulders ) is showing!
