Center Stage Dance L.A. "BEST KIDS' DANCE CLASSES IN L.A.." -Los Angeles Magazine

Center Stage Dance LA is a school uniquely designed to encourage an appreciation and interest in dance and music. While sharing our love of dance, we strive to provide a fun, enthusiastic, and nurturing environment for our students. All of the teachers at Center Stage Dance LA are working professional dancers and choreographers who have performed in TV commercials, music videos, movies, and stage shows.

We had the most amazing experience getting to see Sara Bareilles last night. She was so kind to take the time to answer Penelope’s question in such a thoughtful way. I have always been such a huge fan of her music but watching her connect with both the girls touched me even more.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. We had the best night crying, laughing, singing and dancing. It was the first time in a while I felt pure joy without feeling bad.

Thank you Sara Bareilles for the most wonderful evening and for such special moment we will never forget.

My grandad was my best friend, my biggest fan, and one of the most important people in my world. 🤍

Last Christmas, he gave me my very first guitar.

In February, we lost him.

I didn’t really know what to do with all the feelings that came with losing someone I loved that much… so I picked up the guitar he gave me and wrote him a song. 🎸

I’ve been so inspired by Sara Bareilles talking about grief, and how music can give us somewhere to put the love we still have for someone who isn’t here anymore.

Writing this song made me feel close to my grandad again. Like maybe, somehow, he can still hear me.

I’m going to see Sara in two weeks, and it would mean the absolute world to me if somehow this song found its way to her before then.

So if this makes you think of someone you miss, please share it. 🤍

Maybe enough shares can help it find its way to Sara Bareilles.

HELP US KEEP CENTER STAGE SAFE ❤️
The safety of our dancers, families and staff will always be one of our highest priorities.

We have already started installing coded-entry systems at our lobby and garage entrances, allowing us to keep our exterior doors locked during studio hours.

Our next step is something we feel strongly about — having a professional security guard at the studio during our open hours.

This is a significant ongoing expense, and rather than raising tuition this year to pass that additional cost onto all of our families, we have decided to create a GoFundMe and ask our amazing community for help.

As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to feel confident that when you drop your child off, they are somewhere safe, cared for and protected. Center Stage is so much more than a business to us — these dancers are our community, and we take the responsibility of looking after them incredibly seriously.

There is absolutely no obligation to donate. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping cover the cost of professional security at the studio. Sharing our GoFundMe helps too. ❤️

WHAT. A. FIRST. DAY. 🥹🩷

Yesterday, our new home finally came ALIVE. ✨

The studios were full.
The music was playing.
Our teachers were teaching.
Our dancers were dancing.
Friends were reunited.
New friendships were beginning.

And suddenly, this beautiful new building felt like Center Stage.

Thank you to every dancer, parent, teacher and staff member who made our first day such an incredible success — and thank you for your patience and excitement as we settle into our new home.

This is only the beginning.

New studio. New season. Bigger dreams together. 🩷

It’s finally here.

After months of dreaming, designing, planning, building, packing, moving and more than a few tears… today we officially open the doors to our new home. 🥹

This is so much more than a new studio. It’s a new chapter for Center Stage Dance.

A new space to TRAIN. GROW. PERFORM.
A place to create, dream, work hard, make memories and continue building the incredible community that makes Center Stage so special.

Today is an emotional one for so many reasons, and I wanted to share a little of what this moment means to me. 🤍

To our staff, dancers and families — thank you. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us and coming along on this crazy adventure.
