These girls battled until the very end but unfortunately came up short in the end finishing 4th in the Babe Ruth World Series. We are so proud of how hard they played and a represented Manassas

The Greater Manassas Cavalry 8U put together an incredible day of bracket play, earning two huge wins and knocking off the tournament’s #1 seed!

🥎 Game 1: Defeated Puerto Rico 8U 9-2
🥎 Game 2: Defeated #1 Fern Creek 8U 9-8 in an absolute thriller!

These girls showed heart, grit, and never gave up. Every player contributed, and their determination paid off with one of the biggest wins of the tournament!

What a way to bounce back!

The Greater Manassas girls came out focused and took care of business with a 9-2 victory over Puerto Rico to kick off bracket play. Every player contributed, and the team played with energy, confidence, and determination from the first pitch to the last out.

Now it’s on to the next challenge! We take on the #1 seed, Fern Creek, today at 2:00 PM. We’re ready to compete and leave it all on the field!

Another heartbreaking pool play battle for Greater Manassas as the girls came up just short today. While the result wasn’t what we wanted, we’re incredibly proud of the fight, determination, and heart this team showed from the first pitch to the last.

Now it’s time to reset and get ready for bracket play tomorrow at 10:00 AM. We’re excited for another opportunity to compete and leave it all on the field!
