We had so much fun at the Lights On After School Art Show!
If you missed it, stop by the Y — the artwork is staying up through this weekend 💡

Our licensed LvO Y After School programs serve six schools across Marblehead and Swampscott — 480 kids, and growing every year! We run our program onsite at Brown Elementary, Glover Elementary, Village Elementary, Swampscott Elementary, Marblehead Community Charter School, and Swampscott Middle School. Our Y has been providing after school care for the Marblehead and Swampscott communities since the 90s!

Thank you to the Swampscott Tides for highlighting our Lynch/van Otterloo Y's afterschool programs! As Out Of School Time director Kathleen Alexandrou states, “Our afterschool program allows children from kindergarten to eighth grade (to) develop self-confidence, interpersonal relationships, and positive values." 💙

On October 22, the Lynch/van Otterloo Y will be celebrating Lights On Afterschool, a day dedicated to showcasing the importance of afterschool programming. Community members are invited to visit the Y between 5 and 7 p.m. for an art walk featuring works from children in the afterschool program and learn more about the program! 💡

Nearly 475 children are served at six Marblehead and Swampscott schools as the Y expands access to licensed, affordable afterschool care. The Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA’s licensed afterschool programs have grown...

💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, we raise awareness, encourage regular screenings, and stand with everyone affected by breast cancer.

Our Corner Stone Cancer Support Program offers support and community for both patients and families navigating a cancer diagnosis. From free Y memberships to specialized classes, Corner Stone aims to ensure no one has to face cancer alone. 💗
