Hey Minneapolis! Spring Break (Fri 3/27-Fri 4/3) is around the corner, what will you be up to? Audubon Park has some fun activities planned for youth, and we hope to see you there.
Monday 3/30 - STEM Day - Drones (Activity #31320)
-Learn how a drone is built, take turns as a team flying through obstacles, and put your skills to the test in our "payload group game"!
Wednesday 4/1 - Minecraft Day (Activity #31321)
-We will be mining, crafting, and all things in between with this day fully themed around the world of Minecraft. Build a world, build Mine "crafts", and make some themed treats! (Children are welcome to bring a Nintendo Switch if parents are comfortable)
Friday 4/3 - Beach Day (Activity #32172)
-We'll end Spring Break on a high note as we adventure to "Audubon Beach". Play beach-themed games, build a kinetic sand castle, and drink some ocean-themed mocktails as if we were somewhere tropical!

Looking for a fun, challenging, and confidence-building activity for your child this winter and spring? Audubon Team Gymnastics is back, and the program begins Monday, February 23rd!
This team-based gymnastics program is designed for youth ages 8–17 who are ready to build skills, strength, and teamwork in a supportive and energetic environment. Participants will train together, grow as athletes, and have the exciting opportunity to compete in bi-weekly tri-park meets, ending with a Citywide Meet on May 2.
Meet Dates: Thursdays 5:00-8:15 pm - March 12, March 26, April 9, April 23 @ Northstar Elementary
Final Meet: Saturday, May 2, 8:30-1:00 pm @ Northstar Elementary
Ages: 8-17 / Cost: $200* (*Youth Program Fee Discounts available!)

Let's jump, tumble, and roll into the next session of Little Flippers Gymnastics! Now with more sessions for our beginner athletes to level up in the sport and advance their skills.

📢 Attention Audubon Park! 📢
We’re excited to share that as our exterior construction wraps up, the playground will officially open tomorrow, October 24!
Our pickleball and basketball courts will be temporarily lined and open by next Tuesday, October 28, with permanent lining and painting scheduled for late spring as weather allows.
To celebrate, join us for a soft opening celebration on Thursday, October 30, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Enjoy pickleball demos, basketball games, and playground fun hosted by MPRB staff—plus s’mores, seasonal drinks, and other treats!
An official grand opening and ribbon-cutting will take place in late spring once all final construction is complete. We’ll share more details as the date approaches.
We can’t wait to see you at the park!

Ready to flip, jump and tumble? Audubon Team Gymnastics is calling experienced youth gymnasts (8-17) to join our gymnastics team this Fall!
Our fall session runs October 21-November 20, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45–6:45 p.m. (no class 11/4 or 11/11).
The Winter/Spring session runs February 21-April 30, with the same Tuesday/Thursday schedule. We’ll hold bi-weekly Thursday meets and wrap up with a Citywide Meet on Saturday May 2.
Location: Northstar Gym 2410 N Girard Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55411 (Door 10)
Resident fees:
• Fall: $200
• Spring: $240 (Enrollment opens 10/22)

Young Athletes is an innovative sports play program that introduces children with and without intellectual disabilities to the world of sports. Kids build basic motor skills like running, kicking, and throwing while learning through fun and active play, guided by trained Special Olympics volunteers. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend as observers and to support participation as needed.
