Update: Lower Guadalupe River Status

Canyon Lake is on the rise, and we’re taking the time to carefully assess the changing conditions and make any necessary adjustments. But don’t worry—that doesn’t mean you can’t have a great weekend in Comal County!

The Lower Guadalupe River below Canyon Dam is completely unaffected by the floodwaters entering Canyon Lake, including popular stretches like the Horseshoe and River Road.

With river flows expected to be between 100 and 150 cfs, it’s shaping up to be a great weekend to get out on the water. Stop by one of our fantastic local river outfitters, and they’ll help tailor the perfect float to fit your group.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions at Canyon Lake and share updates as they become available. Have a safe and fun weekend!
