🏆⭐ STAR SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM OF THE WEEK: BURCKHALTER ELEMENTARY! ⭐🏆

Congratulations to Burckhalter Elementary’s Girls and Co-Ed teams for earning BOTH of our Week 2 STAR Sportsmanship Team of the Week awards!

These teams have brought so much more than competition to our Saturdays. From cheering on teammates to showing respect and encouragement to their opponents, they continue to show us what sportsmanship is all about. Their energy, positive attitudes, and pure JOY make game days better for everyone! 💙🧡

And what makes their recognition even more special? Burckhalter is the ONLY school with teams competing in both leagues, and their impact doesn’t stop when their own games end!

Several Burckhalter athletes stepped up as FREE AGENTS, joining other teams throughout the day to help fill rosters and make sure more students could experience the joy of playing together. That’s what being a great teammate and building community looks like!

STAR stands for Super Fun, Teamwork, Always Try, and Respect ⭐ And Burckhalter has been putting all four into action!

Congratulations to both teams, and thank you for bringing that incredible spirit to our league every Saturday. Keep shining, Burckhalter! 🏈🔥
