Hospitals are using blood faster than it's being donated, creating an urgent need for donors across all blood types. Donate blood July 1 and receive a limited-edition Red Cross Looney Tunes T-Shirt, celebrating 250 years of America, while supplies last. Thank you to all of our members who participated in Buehler YMCA's "Level Up at the Y" promotion. There were 2,199 entries into our giveaways. Our lucky winners were Keira S. and Steve Fallon!

There were 282 members who earned their Y For Life t-shirts by visiting Buehler 15 times or more between May 18th and June 18th. Way to get after it!

We’re happy to share that the Family Pool is now open following the recent power outage. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to ensure everything was operating safely and properly.

Power Update: ComEd estimates full power restoration will not occur until late tonight.

All aquatic activities are canceled until further notice. Once power is restored, pools will require approximately 12 hours to balance and heat the pools. We currently plan to fully reopen the pools on Monday at 5:00 AM.

Due to the outage, lighting is unavailable in the basketball courts and gymnastics gym. The following programs are canceled:
• Friday Night Open Gymnastics
• Saturday Gymnastics Classes (all levels)
• Saturday & Sunday Swim Lessons (all levels)
• Swim Team practices

YMCA staff will contact affected families regarding makeup opportunities once operations resume.

Parents Night Out and Friday Night Ninja will operate as scheduled.
