Committing to workout and sticking with it does take some effort.
However, once you've built the habit it becomes much easier to do on a daily basis.
Depending on what school of thought you know about habits, they do take time to build up regardless whether it's 22 days or 31 days. It's all about staying consistent at the beginning.
If you've been riding a bike for a long time and you fall off, it is a lot easier to jump back on than if you just started.
But the point is to not get discouraged when you fall off the bike at the beginning, lots of people fall off right after they start.
Like one of my clients always says, "just one more, like tony Robbins" even if you've never heard of the guy, the idea to just try one more time sticks.
Just because you've tried to do something healthy a couple times and it didn't work out doesn't mean you need to stop trying!

Self-sabotage is more common than you think.
I see this time and time again with clients who are just starting out.
If your beliefs and identity are that you’re overweight... even if you get in shape, if you haven’t changed that belief you'll eventually sabotage yourself. 📉
If your beliefs are that you don't deserve a happy, healthy, loving relationship, you'll subconsciously sabotage that relationship. 🤷♂️
It’s important to condition your beliefs because your subconscious mind will ALWAYS give you what you think you deserve. 💡
Make sure they are in alignment with what it is that you want!
Many people sabotage their own progress not because they don't want those things, but because they don't believe they deserve them.
Think of the type of person you see yourself in 6 months or a year from now.
What beliefs will you need to change to get there?
I see a lot of people have their understanding of health and fitness backwards.
They try so hard to get the body they desire at the price of how they feel.
But what they're not realizing, is that when you FEEL good and prioritize it, achieving your fitness goals is the easy part!
How can it be possible to sustain looking good when you feel like garbage all the time?
Sure, you may be able to get lean for a few weeks, maybe even a few months if you have a lot of willpower, but it's inevitable that you'll crash and fail if you don't place FEELING good as the top priority on the hierarchy of health + wellness.
Stop focusing on what you can’t do, can’t eat, and can’t experience, and start focusing on what you CAN!
It's not difficult to stay in shape year-round when you feel good, but it's next to impossible to when you feel like crap.
Shift your mindset, become consistent, and increase your results
December: the month of food galore and routines doing the cha-cha.
Your life transforms into a real-life game of musical chairs - routines, structure, and even your environment join the dance.
Cue the uncertainty alarm! Your brain's like, "Will all my hard work go down the chimney?"
Then there's the internal debate: "I shouldn't, but I really want to indulge..." Ah, the holiday struggle!
These thoughts turn you into a time-traveling worrywart, missing out on the present.
But fear not! Here's the festive hack: Forget about control for the next 4 weeks.
Enter the holiday season armed with acceptance and gratitude. Slow down, dance to a different tune, and spend time with loved ones. You'll discover progress doesn't vanish; in fact, it might just do a festive jig.
Recovery levels up, stress levels drop - turns out, you're doing your body a solid.

My take on the 'Law of Attraction'.
Our thoughts and feelings must be conducive to our goals and desires.
Many people wish and desire great things but they're not aligned mentally with those desires; their thoughts do not reflect those goals and therefore they never attract them.
Your thoughts must be on the same frequency as your goals or else they'll have no real power, no frequency to attract what it is that you desire.
That's why it's easy to be optimistic and positive when everything is going right. When things go wrong it's easy to drop your bike and walk.
But the key is that you maintain those thoughts when everything is going wrong as well. Keeping the beat at pace will help keep you on your path.
If you don't, you'll dig yourself into a deeper hole because you'll attract what you are and what you think about most.
