you can be capable, driven, and outwardly confident - and still privately question whether you’re doing enough or whether you’re as capable as everyone else believes.

you can know how to achieve, perform, and take care of what needs to be done, yet struggle to trust your own instincts, recognize what you want, or allow your accomplishments to feel like enough before chasing whatever comes next.

i know this person well because.. hello - it’s me! 🙋‍♀️ and i know i’m not alone in feeling like nothing is ever “enough”.

this work deeply resonates and that’s why i’m opening a limited number of spots for a new three-month 1:1 coaching opportunity through aceto.

this work isn’t about expecting less from yourself. it’s about developing a more productive and sustainable way to pursue what matters to you - while building greater self-awareness, clarity, confidence, and trust in yourself.

the three-month partnership includes:

• six private 60-minute coaching sessions
• personalized reflection, practices, and tangible tools
• support between scheduled sessions (from me and my three dogs)

every partnership begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation so we can discuss what you’re navigating, what you want from coaching, and whether working together feels like the right fit.

if this resonates with you - or brings someone to mind - i’d love to connect. visit the link in my bio or send me a message to learn more!

i’m excited to start sharing “a little know-how” - a series of small, practical approaches for navigating pressure, building confidence, communicating effectively, and responding more intentionally.

each installment will break down one approach: what it can help with, how to use it, and where people commonly get it wrong.

everything will be quick, straightforward, and easy to put into practice - because understanding something is helpful, but knowing how to apply it is what creates change.

each know-how will be shared through my stories and saved under the “know-hows” highlight so you can revisit it whenever you need it.

i hope these resonate, help you navigate the moments that matter, and give you something useful to carry forward!

the goal? little, repeatable practices that create big, meaningful change.

strong teams are built intentionally - even when they begin with exceptionally capable people.

last week, i had the incredible opportunity to facilitate during MIT Sloan’s MBA Orientation as part of the Edgework Consulting team.

the experience brought together brilliant and accomplished people at the beginning of a demanding new chapter - one in which their individual capabilities will matter, but so will their ability to communicate, build trust, navigate uncertainty, and contribute to something larger than themselves.

it reinforced something central to my work through aceto:

talent matters. individual performance matters. but when people need to succeed together, creating the conditions for connection, trust, and collaboration matters too.

teams become stronger when people communicate clearly, take ownership, navigate pressure, and understand the impact they have on one another.

through aceto’s team & organization development work, i partner with high-achieving groups across business, education, and athletics to strengthen the dynamics that influence how they work and perform together.

each engagement is customized around the group, its environment, and the outcomes it is working toward - with potential areas of focus including communication, trust, accountability, leadership, resilience, and performance under pressure.

because assembling talented people is only the beginning.

how they work together determines what becomes possible.

if you lead a team or organization that expects a lot from itself, i would love to learn more about what you’re working toward and how aceto can help!

what i actually coach.

i coach confidence. leadership. mental performance. communication. resilience. self-awareness.

because these skills shape more than performance - they shape our character and who we become.

they help us compete with confidence and humility. lead with courage and compassion.

and yes - the outcome matters. competition matters. wanting to win matters.

but somewhere along the way, too many athletes begin believing their value rises and falls with the scoreboard, the stat sheet, the scholarship, or the opinion of someone else.

that's a heavy way to play. and that mindset certainly doesn't end just because sports do.

i don't think the answer is lowering expectations.

i think it's helping athletes develop the tools to handle those expectations - while preserving the joy that made them fall in love with the game in the first place.

i want every athlete to embrace the challenge. to chase excellence. to care deeply about the outcome.

to learn how to rise to the occasion. and to know how to respond when they fall short.

to handle pressure. to navigate disappointment. to communicate. to lead. to trust themselves.

and to continue loving the game - even when it's hard.

that's why i coach the person behind the performance. because who we become will always matter more than what we accomplish.

what makes an athlete recruitable?

recruiting isn't just about getting noticed - it's about understanding where you are, where you want to go, and what it will take to get there.

athletic ability may open the door, but college coaches are also evaluating the person behind the performance - leadership, communication, resilience, coachability, self-awareness, and much more.

that's why i created this complimentary recruiting readiness guide. i hope it provides greater clarity and confidence as you navigate the recruiting process and explore opportunities to continue competing at the collegiate level.

inside you'll find:
✓ a comprehensive recruiting readiness assessment
✓ practical recruiting insights
✓ answers to frequently asked questions
✓ common recruiting mistakes to avoid
✓ actionable next steps to help you move forward with confidence

follow this link (https://www.acetoimpact.com/college-recruiting-readiness ), complete the short form, and we'll send your complimentary recruiting readiness guide directly to your inbox.

if you or someone you know is navigating the recruiting process, i hope this guide is a valuable resource! and if you're looking for additional guidance along the way, i'm here to help.

ways to partner with aceto.

every partnership looks a little different.

whether it's working one-on-one, partnering with a team throughout a season, leading a workshop, or navigating the recruiting process together, the approach is always the same: intentionally developing the person behind the performance.

because confidence, leadership, communication, resilience, integrity, self-awareness and clarity don't just influence performance - they influence the kind of teammate, leader, and person we become.

if you're an athlete, coach, parent, school, or organization looking to intentionally invest in your people, i'd love to connect.

and if someone came to mind while reading this, i'd be grateful if you sent this post their way.

what sports have taught me.

from growing up as a three-sport athlete to competing as a two-sport collegiate athlete at bowdoin college here in maine, sports have played a massive role in shaping who i am.

i'll always be grateful for the opportunities i've been afforded through athletics, but i'm even more grateful for the skills they've helped me develop and the lessons they've taught me throughout the years.

because, to me, these skills - resilience, self-awareness, communication, discipline, accountability, connection, leadership, and a strong sense of identity - are the real measure of success.

that's why my goal isn't solely to help enhance performance - it's to help people develop into the kind of teammate, leader, and human others want beside them in the face of adversity.

at the end of the day, competition on the field will eventually end. but the kind of person we become, the impact we have on those around us, and the way we make people feel - that will be our legacy.

i believe sports are one of the greatest environments for growth - in every sense of the word. they have shaped who i am and the way i think about leadership, and that's the philosophy behind how i coach.

what we do.

while the work may look different depending on who i'm working with, it's all rooted in the same belief: helping people develop from the inside out.

whether that's working one-on-one with an athlete, helping a family navigate the recruiting process, partnering with a team to strengthen its culture, or working with leaders and organizations, i believe the qualities that shape how we think, connect, communicate, and lead deserve to be developed with the same intention as our physical performance.

why i built aceto.

we spend countless hours physically training for competition. but far less time is spent intentionally developing the qualities that determine how we compete, how we lead, and ultimately, who we become.

i believe sport is one of the greatest environments for human development.

not simply because it teaches us how to win, but because it gives us daily opportunities to practice resilience, accountability, integrity, connection, courage, and leadership under pressure.

those lessons don't stay on the field. they become the foundation for how we lead our families, our organizations, our communities, and our lives.

that's why i created aceto.

connection is at the center of everything we do. because i believe leadership begins with connection - to ourselves and to those around us. through connection, we develop the trust, accountability, and character to navigate life's most challenging moments.

winning matters. competing matters. excellence matters. but the person we become in pursuit of those things matters just as much.

my mission is to help athletes, teams, leaders, and organizations intentionally develop the person behind the performance - because the lessons learned through competition have the power to shape how we lead, connect, and live long after the game is over.
