Shoutout to our guy Brycen.puck27 on an incredible off season down here in the facility 📈
Brycen will be heading up to New Jersey to play for the New Jersey Titans 15u AAA team. An incredible opportunity for him to continue growing and developing.
We all wish you nothing but the best up north, and know you will do nothing but succeed and lead by example.
The OTA standard.

Sprinter step up series for single leg power.
Here’s a simple progression we use with our college baseball and basketball athletes to build single-leg power, explosiveness, and force absorption.
1. Sprinter Step-Ups. Athletes explode vertically off the bench, then control and absorb the landing. Getting the entire lower-body chain activated to both produce AND receive force.
2. Step-Up Launches. Now we turn up the intent. Max-effort ballistic jump with an emphasis on triple extension and projecting the body vertically.
3. Step-Up Launch to Med Ball Toss. Final progression. Add external load and push the intensity while maintaining explosive triple extension and maximal vertical projection.
Progress the position and increase the intent and intensity. Thats how we build explosive athletes.
DM “BASEBALL” if you want to train schedule a session and train with us!

Shoutout to our athlete Jordan Cooper on a great transformation this past year 📈
Consistency compounds. This is proof of that. Whether it was the off season, pre season, or in season Jordan made and prioritized time to get into the facility. Not just here and there.
This is just the start. Our ideology here is to celebrate our wins, but have the next goal in mind. Big year is coming to say the least.
Good stuff Jordan 📈

Time to work, Eckerd Tritons 💪🔱
Excited to be working alongside Eckerd Athletics to develop faster, stronger, and more resilient athletes.
But more importantly, to work alongside the EC coaching staff to make sure these athletes are physically prepared to perform when it matters most — and put these teams in the best position to WIN. 🏆
Big year ahead

In-Season Performance volleyball performance with Eckerd Volleyball. Some controlled jumps and upper/lower correctives in the session today.
In-season training isn’t about doing more. It’s about maintaining the qualities that make you explosive, while keeping the body durable for the demands of competition.
Seated Vertical Jumps - maintaining power and explosiveness while emphasizing a stiff, stable landing. Volleyball athletes still need to produce force at a high rate all season long.
Half-Kneeling Band Face Pull to External Rotation - keeping the rotator cuff strong and maintaining shoulder external rotation for the repetitive demands of hitting and serving.
Bulgarian Split Squat Holds - single-leg stability and stiffness through the knee, giving volleyball athletes a stronger foundation to absorb and redirect force.
The goal is to maintain the qualities to perform at a high level all season.
