There’s no one-size-fits-all cure for Lyme.
I say that because since sharing I have Lyme and coinfections, my inbox has turned into a wellness clearinghouse. Drink your own urine. Check your astrology chart. DM after DM from people who are “just trying to help” — who also happen to have something to sell.
Here’s what I’ve actually learned, slowly, from the inside of this thing: Lyme is complex. It’s different in every body. The herb, the tincture, the protocol that saved someone else might do nothing for you — or make things worse. Anyone who tells you on day one that they’ve found THE cure doesn’t understand the infection. They understand a sales funnel.
I’m not here to sell you anything. I’m just sharing my journey — the slow, unglamorous, non-linear reality of it — because I wish someone had told me this instead of adding to the noise.
If you’re in it too, you’re not doing it wrong just because it’s not fast.

After using yoga to heal myself from chronic back pain, I have been on a mission to empower people to actively participate in their own healing and regeneration. My journey began over 20 years ago when I worked in the Spanish radio industry. I suddenly found myself suffering from chronic lower back pain. In search of relief, I developed a dedicated yoga practice which helped to deeply heal my body
What does “somatic” actually mean?
Somatic means relating to the body.
A somatic practice brings your attention into the body—into your breath, sensations, movement, tension, emotions, and the signals your body is constantly sending you.
It’s not about thinking your way through everything.
It’s about learning to feel, notice, listen, and respond.
Shaking, breathwork, mindful movement, sound, grounding, and even simply noticing your sensations can all be somatic practices.
The body is always communicating.
The question is…
Are we listening?
